Hollywood star Heather Graham cozied up to her new Italian beau, Michele Civetta, during a sun-soaked vacation together in Tulum, Mexico, on Tuesday. The 56-year-old looked incredible in a white string bikini as she frolicked on the beach with the director, her long blonde hair falling down her back.
Michele took to his Instagram stories to share insight into their getaway, starting with a shot of Heather lying on the beach in her bikini, with her arms lifted over her head to showcase her toned abs. "Mermaid in the sea," he captioned the sizzling photo.
The second picture saw the blonde beauty with her arms wrapped around Michele, as they sat under the shade of a palm tree on the beach. "Sunstruck…Mexico," he wrote alongside the snap.
The Hangover star's last public relationship was with US snowboarder John de Neufville, with whom she was last seen in 2022 and who made his final appearance on her social media in 2024.
Heather has previously opened up about her desire to date someone outside of Hollywood, who can keep her grounded and down-to-earth.
"Of course, you want someone to understand your crazy schedule, which is different than a normal job, but I like dating someone who's not in the business," she told People.
"It puts it in perspective. Sometimes your job becomes so important to you, and then you realize there's so many other things in life that are happening. It's not all about the movie business."
The A-lister chose not to have children, sharing that she never regretted that decision despite the comments she often receives on the topic. "I don't feel that I'm missing anything," she explained. "If you're meant to have kids, you have kids. And if you're not meant to have kids, then the universe gives you someone or something to nurture."
"I do sometimes feel like my projects are little kids; I have started to get more involved in producing, writing and directing," she continued. "I do feel like, as a woman, culturally, you're not allowed to say, 'I didn't want to have kids.' Because it's like, what's wrong with you?"
"I think as a man it's like, oh, cool, you didn't want to have kids. Now, women are getting more free to make their own choices." She added that it was freeing to not be a mother, and that she got "a lot of sleep" as a result.
Michele, best known for directing The Executrix and The Gateway, shares a son, Nicola, with his ex-wife, Italian actress Asia Argento. The former couple married in Italy in 2008, yet went their separate ways in 2013.
"Happy birthday Nico! Wishing you all the love fortune and blessings ad infinitum," Michele wrote on Instagram in celebration of his son's special day in September 2025. "You are inspired/ing to everyone you meet and couldn't be a more proud Pappa!"
