After a childhood in the spotlight, Tina Yothers has happily retreated away from Hollywood.
The Family Ties actress, now 52, was only three years old when she started acting, making her screen debut in an episode of The Wonderful World of Disney in 1981.
One year later, she was cast in the role she is best known for, Jennifer Keaton in Family Ties, who she played for 176 episodes until 1989.
She has however since left Hollywood… take a look at her personal life below.
Tina's family life
Despite being catapulted into the spotlight at such an early age, Tina keeps her personal life largely out of the spotlight.
Since 2002, she has been married to Robert Kaiser, and the couple are based in Ontario, California, which is about 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
In 2005, they welcomed their first child together, daughter Lillian Grace, followed by son Robert Jake, born in 2007, completing their blended family of six, which includes Robert's two sons from a previous marriage.
Tina's post Family Ties life
After Family Ties came to an end, Tina appeared in a series of more television movies throughout the 1980s and 1990s, before pivoting to reality TV competitions in the late 1990s.
Her debut as a celebrity contestant came in 1990 when she appeared on Family Double Dare, though her most notable appearance was on Celebrity Fit Club in 2006, and later Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp, which she appeared on after her second pregnancy.
She has also appeared on The Weakest Link, in 2001, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 2006, Celebrity Wife Swap in 2012, and What Not to Wear in 2013, which marked her last appearance on the screen.
Tina also had a brief career in music, releasing two singles, "Baby, I'm Back in Love Again" and "Girlie, Girlie," as a 13-year-old while still appearing on Family Ties, which later comprised her two-song album, Over and Over.
