Julianne Moore usually steals the spotlight at any event she attends, but she was overshadowed by her towering son and husband at the 10th annual Love Rocks NYC benefit concert for God's Love We Deliver on Thursday.
The 65-year-old made a rare family appearance on the red carpet with her 28-year-old son, Caleb Moore Freundlich, and her 56-year-old filmmaker husband, Bart Freundlich.
Julianne stood a good head and shoulders below her two favorite men as they posed for photos at The Beacon Theatre.
All three wrapped up warm for the occasion, with the Sirens star wearing a brown corduroy jacket over a black sweater and matching brown pants.
Caleb opted for a black puffer jacket over a denim shirt, a black T-shirt, and matching baggy pants, while Bart wore a North Face jacket, black jeans, and a white T-shirt underneath a gray cardigan.
Julianne and Bart have been married for over 22 years after meeting on The Myth of Fingerprints in 1996. They welcomed Caleb in 1997 and their daughter, Liv Helen Moore Freundlich, in 2002 before tying the knot in 2003.
Despite boasting an impressive career, Julianne often puts her family first. "My family makes me most happy," she told People. "It would be miserable without them."
In 2010, she also opened up to The Guardian about balancing motherhood with her career. "I can't go to Europe for four months during the school year," she shared.
"Just like every other working parent, I'm trying to figure out: 'How do I work, how am I available for soccer games, how can I make sure that I'm home when everybody's doing their homework?' So if I come to do press in London, I come for two days, and I get right back home," she added.
Both children have followed their parents into the entertainment industry. Caleb is a composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has written music for a wide variety of projects, from documentary and narrative films to animations, video games, and even web-comics, according to his website.
"It definitely all started with my parents," he told Shoutout LA in 2022. "They always wished they could play an instrument, and so they were adamant on me learning one when I was young. They were supportive, no matter how it sounded."
He graduated from college in 2020 and went on to earn a master's degree in music from NYU Steinhardt. Caleb is also an adjunct professor teaching Music Production for Animation at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Away from his career, Caleb is an engaged man and will marry his fiancée, Kibriyaá Morgan, later this year.
Liv, meanwhile, is a graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in English. She also had roles in The Rebound (2009) and Trust the Man (2005) before making her modeling debut for J.Crew in 2017.
In 2022, she also starred alongside her mom in a stunning campaign for Hourglass Cosmetics. "I've been bragging about Liv since the day she was born, and I'm so impressed by how well she navigates the world and how mature she is," Julianne told Harper’s Bazaar that same year.
