Maura Higgins may have experimented with several different glamorous wigs during her time on The Traitors US, but she opted for a more natural look during a night out on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old Irish star is continuing her US takeover and attended the Vanity Fair Hosts Vanities: A Night for Young Hollywood party at Bar Marmont.
Maura appeared to go wig-free for the event, wearing her dark hair slicked back in a chic up-do, but she seemingly added clip-in bangs to complete her look.
The former Love Island star usually has no bangs or two face-framing pieces of hair she wears loose, but on Wednesday, she sported short, side-sweeping bangs slicked to her forehead.
While Maura's hair looked divine, it was her dress that really spoke volumes. She wore a black velvet, figure-hugging dress that featured mesh panneling along her chest, stomach, and legs.
The high-neck number also boasted long sleeves, structured fabric at the hip, and a floor-sweeping length.
Maura recently revealed that she opted for wigs during her time on the American version of The Traitors because she isn't the best at styling her naturally curly hair.
"I'm not the best at styling my hair — I just don't have patience. I have more fun doing my makeup than my hair," she told Interview Magazine when asked about her haircare routine.
"I brought wigs to Traitors because my hair is so curly and it gets so frizzy, so that was the best thing I did in Traitors," Maura continued, explaining why her natural hair wasn't as easy to preserve in the misty Scottish Highlands, where the NBC competition show is filmed.
"On those missions when we were in water, and the weather wasn't the best — it was raining and cold — I would just stick a little beanie cap on, do the mission, then when I'd come back I'd stick my wig back on, and it was already styled. Best thing I did."
Also in the interview, the Glow Up host was asked about her regular hair routine. "I'm not sure I have one," she replied, noting that she'll opt for a hair mask on a busier day.
"I don't really do much with my hair," outside of using a root spray," she added. "I've had gray hair since I was 17, so I always have to cover my roots."
Maura placed as the runner-up, as a Faithful, on season four of the show, which Rob Rausch won as a Traitor.
Speaking of her time on The Traitors, she told Glamour: "I actually found it quite tough, only because I never watched the show. I probably should have. I think that's a regret of mine.
"But my brain before filming it was kind of like, 'Well, I've never watched any other shows I've done before doing them, and it's always done me good.' So, yeah, I went in there very blind, and I was learning the game as I went along."
