Sophia Grace Macy
Sophia Grace Macy was born on 1 August 2000 to parents William and Felicity. The 25-year-old has a enjoyed a fairly long career already, getting her start onscreen in two 2017 features, short film Aurora and a short role in Alexandra Daddario comedy The Layover.
She followed this up with one episode appearances in The Twilight Zone (2020), Shameless (2020) and The Chair (2021). Recently, she's appeared in HBO series Rooster (2026) and feature Grizzly Night (2026) and, according to her IMDb, has a new project alongside her father yet to be released.

Georgia Grace Macy
Georgia recently appeared at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival alongside her father for the premiere of Train Dreams. She graduated the year before from New York's Vassar College in New York and usually stays out of the spotlight, though her father has reported she's "interested in politics" and "killing it" at a very academic school.
Georgia has shared her appreciation for her family via Instagram captioning shots of her father, "I must've done something good in a past life to deserve a family like this in this one".

Marriage
At the centre of this happy family is the couple that made it happen. William and Felicity married nearly 30 years ago in 1997 and the couple seem just as happy today. He told People magazine that he's "never had to work at it. I'm crazy for her."
While there's a lot to be said for keeping work and home life separate, William and Felicity have found success blurring the line between the two. He explained, "We share the theater and showbiz and storytelling that's really at the core of our relationship. And I don't recommend this at home, but we talk the talk and walk the walk."

William H. Macy's best-loved roles
The Shameless actor has over 150 credits on his IMDB and got his start way-back-when in 1978 series The Awakening Land. He's best-known for his roles in Fargo (1996), Magnolia (1999) and Boogie Nights (1997) as well as a decade-long run on Shameless.
But he's not just made a name for himself in front of the camera: William has also worked as a producer, director and writer. He's crossed over several times with his actress daughter, directing The Layover and acting in upcoming comedy Brian (2026).

Felicity Huffman's star career
The Oscar-nominated actress starred in 2005's Transamerica and starred in all all but two episodes of Desperate Housewives between 2004 and 2012. More recently, she's worked on shows like The Good Doctor, Criminal Minds and Doc.
As of today, Felicity is rebuilding her career, returning to television as Dr. Joan Ridley in the medical drama Doc.
