Al Pacino and his three grown children made a very rare appearance together on Thursday – all in the name of family.
The 85-year-old is usually the center of attention, but he took a back seat for his eldest daughter, Julie Pacino, 36, who was celebrating her feature directorial debut at the LA premiere of her movie, I Live Here Now.
It wasn't just Al showing his support, but also his twins, Anton and Olivia, 25. The family beamed with pride as they posed together for several rare red carpet photos.
At one point, Julie planted a kiss on her dad's cheek as she wrapped her arms around him and smiled proudly at the camera.
Anton and Olivia looked just as pleased to support their big sister, laughing while throwing up peace signs during their group shots.
I Live Here Now is a horror thriller drama film written and directed by Julie. According to the synopsis, "A woman finds herself trapped in a remote hotel where the violent echoes of her past come alive, blurring the lines between her darkest nightmares and the waking world."
Julie is an award-winning producer and director, having picked up honors at the Venice Shorts Film Festival in 2020 and the Hollywood Gold Awards that same year.
In 2009, she founded the production company Poverty Row Entertainment with her friend Jennifer DeLia, which has produced music videos and commercials.
In 2020, she founded another production company, Tiny Apples, with the goal "to push the boundaries of conventional storytelling by creating imaginative content while tapping into the best and brightest of both coasts," a press release read.
Julie spoke about her desire to make films in an interview with the New York Film Academy in 2014.
"I've always had a passion for filmmaking," Julie said. "I remember visiting film sets as a kid and always being incredibly intrigued by the alternate reality that I was stepping into.
"Making movies and watching movies was always very therapeutic for me. I liked being sucked into a story, falling in love with the different characters and ultimately learning something about my own desires and myself."
Al shares Julie with his ex-girlfriend, acting coach Jan Tarrant. He welcomed Anton and Olivia with actress Beverly D'Angelo, whom he dated from 1997 to 2003.
Anton has maintained a life away from the spotlight, unlike his siblings, lacking a public presence on social media and rarely making appearances with his famous family.
Olivia, while just as private in the public eye as her brother, has a more active presence on social media, particularly on Instagram, where she has over 23,000 followers.
She will often share photographs of herself alongside her parents, showcasing the loving blended family dynamic she is part of.
In June 2023, Al and his then-girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, 32, welcomed a baby boy, Roman, with the actor's rep confirming the news in a statement to HELLO! at the time.
It read: "I am confirming that Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah have welcomed a son, named Roman Pacino."
