Kim Kardashian isn't one to back away from a challenging fashion choice, but she paid a painful price for donning eight-inch heels to the Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday night.
The 45-year-old shared a new video on TikTok that showed her taking a dramatic stumble as she made her way to the A-list post-Oscars bash at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
In the clip, Kim is adding the final touches to her glamorous look, slipping into her skintight shimmering gold Gucci dress before adding her clear-and-gold Pleaser shoes, which boasted an eight-inch stiletto heel and a four-inch platform.
However, as she made her way to her waiting car, Kim dramatically fell into the side of a hedge in her $80 shoes, only being saved by grabbing onto an "old lady" who was passing by.
Before her fall, Kim could be heard telling her friend Stephanie Shepherd: "I wonder if this shoe should be tighter?" Turns out, it should have been, as moments later, she found herself getting acquainted with the hedge.
"Sorry, sorry! My ankle…" she said as she was helped to her unsteady feet. "Wait, let me try to walk on it," she added before letting out an expletive.
