Aldis Hodge, who is currently starring in season seven of American crime thriller Cross, comes from a famous family. His sibling, Edwin Hodge, and sister-in-law, Skye P. Marshall, have acting credits of their own.
The Hodges grew up in North Carolina, both breaking into Hollywood on their own timeline, from starring in Sesame Street to appearing in some of the most popular television shows of the last twenty years.

The Cross actor was born on September 20, 1986 to parents Aldis Basil Hodge and Yolette Evangeline Richardson in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He grew up with his brother Edwin, playing clarinet and violin. And, when Aldis was just seven, he had a recurring role on Sesame Street.

Aldis went on to attend ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California which is where his love of acting took off. After graduating, he kept acting, starring in Buffy the Vampire, Charmed, ER, Girlfriends, and Friday Night Lights.
In 2020, Aldis appeared in One Night in Miami… alongside Leslie Odom Jr. His first lead role is in Cross, which he also produces. And Aldis shares the success with his family.

Born a year before his little brother, Edwin is also an actor. He starred alongside Aldis in Sesame Street for two years beginning when he was eight. Edwin went on to appear in several more shows as a child – from 7th Heaven to Angel.

Throughout his 32-year career, Edwin has starred in several hugely popular shows like Grey's Anatomy and Bones. In 2004, he was in the main cast of the drama, Jack & Bobby, appearing in 20 episodes.
Five years later, in 2009, he starred as Malcolm Darius Washington in the drama series Mental alongside Chris Vance and Jacqueline McKenzie. Recently, Edwin appeared in FBI: Most Wanted.

Edwin married his co-star, Skye P. Marshall, on June 29, 2024 in Los Angeles after meeting on Good Sam. Long before meeting her future husband, Skye lived in Chicago. She studied communication, media, and theater at Northeastern Illinois University before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
Skye has found quite a bit of success in Hollywood, currently starring in the CBS hit show Matlock alongside Kathy Bates. She appears as Olympia Lawrence and has received several nominations for her role, including Critics' Choice and Gotham Television.
