Fawn is both a CEO and author and is serving as a guest judge on the hit TV show on March 18, therefore, now it's time to learn all about her and her career
Fawn Weaver is an author and CEO who will appear on Shark Tank on March 18.
The entrepreneur founded several brands like Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey and Grant Sidney, which have gone on to do great things.
Now the mogul is bringing both her passion and expertise to businessmen and women, who are hoping to strike a deal with one of the sharks including herself.
Prior to her appearance on the hit TV show, HELLO!has delved into her career, net worth and legal issues below.
Fawn grew up in California and had a rough childhood. She was a runaway at the young age of 15, and she lived in several homeless shelters over the span of her teen years.
When she became an adult at 18, she took a huge step towards success by founding FEW Entertainment, which was her first company. The brand focused on special events and public relations.
In 2010, she kicked off her second brand called Grant Sidney Inc. which was an investment firm.
In 2017, she co-founded Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey and she also holds the role of being the brand's chief historian.
She then founded Nearest Green Foundation, which was named after Nearest Green, who was not only Jack Daniel's mentor, but also made history as the first African-American master distiller.
Fawn also made history herself by being the first African-American woman to have an all-female executive team in the competitive industry of American spirits.
Fawn's company Farm Credit Mid-America has been sued by Jay-Z's company Marcy Ventures.
Marcy Ventures believes that its $20 million loan allegedly went towards the brand Grant Sidney, instead of the whiskey company Uncle Nearest.
Marcy Ventures also claimed that on top of that, around $21 million worth of whiskey barrels allegedly disappeared, and the brand argues that allegedly the profit from it went towards the purchase of a Martha's Vineyard property.
Fawn will serve as a guest star on season 17 of the hit show Shark Tank, airing on March 18.
She will have the opportunity to invest and guide businesses that she has interest in.
The mogul expressed: "I am looking for a person or people who have an incredible brand story. One that can be told in a hundred different ways in the press that allows them to level the playing field by utilizing earned media as the foundation and as the launching pad," per PrimeTimer.
She added: "The financial trends I am excited about because I'm crazy about, like markets that don't give up and those who know how to pivot and push forward; they do extraordinary because so many are distracted. So little guys can become big guys because the big buys are in their way in over markets like this."
