It was an extra special, celebratory week for Cole Hauser and his family.
On Tuesday, March 17, the Yellowstone alum's wife Cynthia Daniel rang in her milestone 50th strip around the sun.
The Dazed and Confused actor, who will be 51 March 22, has been married to the former actress-turned-photographer since 2006, and they are parents to sons Ryland, 21, and Colt, 17, and daughter Steely, 13.
In honor of Cynthia's special day, Cole took to Instagram with a heartfelt tribute, sharing a selfie of the pair together in which he appears not with his usual short beard but rather a clean-shaven look instead. "Happy 50th Birthday Baby!" he wrote over it.
In his caption, he also penned: "Happy bday to the best woman I know! 50 years strong my love! You continue to teach me and the world love, grace and kindness with such ease."
Cynthia re-posted the tribute to her Instagram Stories, as well as those of her kids, plus a photo of her at a birthday dinner with Cole and her youngest two kids.
Fans were then quick to take to the comments under Cole's post and gush over it, with one writing: "You two look so happy!" as others followed suit with: "Happy Birthday, Mrs. Hauser!!" and: "Happy Birthday! Hope you’re all having a great time — looks like Europe. Enjoy," as well as: "Happy, happy Birthday, hope you have an awesome day!"
Then another, referring to Cole by his Yellowstone character's name Rip, noted: "Rip we need that beard to return ASAP!" Rip will return in the forthcoming Yellowstone spin-off based on the character as well as that of his onscreen wife Kelly Reilley's Beth Dutton, tentatively titled The Dutton Ranch.
The Dutton Ranch will remain on the same present-day timeline as the original series, which was created by Taylor Sheridan, and share much of its DNA. Its logline reads: "The Dutton Ranch, home to Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, is a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for, as they've come to cherish their 7,000-acre land. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter (Finn Little) becomes the man he's supposed to be."
The actor behind Carter, Finn, recently confirmed that the show is officially in production, sharing a black-and-white photo of him in a cowboy hat on Instagram and writing: "So it is true!!" It was confirmed last month that his role would not be recast; he joined the original series for its fourth season.
Cole, recently speaking with Fox News Digital, shared some new details on the show, first declaring: "Well, first of all, it's not Dutton Ranch … That's not the name of it," hinting that the current working title will not stick.
However, while the series does not appear to have an official title yet, he nonetheless noted: "We can expect the same that we've been doing for the last seven years," and emphasized: "Kelly and I are going and working our [expletive] off trying to create something special."
