Faith Hill may have largely retreated from the spotlight, but she will gladly step out in support of her husband Tim McGraw.
On Saturday, March 21, the "This Kiss" singer made a rare public appearance in Nashville, Tennessee, as her husband was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The beloved country music couple, who are based in Tennessee, have been married since 1996, and are parents to daughters Gracie, 28, Maggie, 27, and Audrey, 24.
Following his special induction ceremony, Tim took to Instagram to issue his thanks, sharing a photo of a smiling Faith, clad in a burgundy blazer, hugging him.
"Friday was a pretty special day," he then wrote in his caption, adding: "I'm not sure it's really sunk in yet, but I've been blown away by all the messages from friends, family, fans and other artists."
"Thank you all and a huge thank you to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Can't wait for October!" he concluded, referring to the medallion ceremony that will be hosted in October.
During the induction ceremony Friday, per People, Tim was seen fighting back tears as he thanked Faith. "I wouldn't be standing here today if it weren't for great women in my life," he told the crowd. "From my grandmother to my mom, my sisters, my daughters, and most of all, to my wife. Thank you, baby. I would not be standing here today if it wasn't for you, nor would I want to be."
And though his daughters couldn't be in attendance because of prior work commitments, Audrey, who had a performance in Las Vegas on the same night, was sure to give a dad a shout-out on stage.
In videos circulating online from her performance at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, Audrey appears saying: "I come from a Mississippi woman and a Louisiana man, who just got inducted into the Country Hall of Fame. I'm so, so proud of my dad. Both of my parents. I love them so much."
"Speaking of my dad, he had me come out and sing this next one at a lot of his sets," she went on, adding: "I think some people are tired of it, but I'll never get [expletive] tired of this song," before singing Heart's 1977 hit "Barracuda."
Faith and Tim's daughters are based largely between Los Angeles and New York City, pursuing varying careers. Audrey is a budding singer who has released a handful of singles and performed on tour with Brandi Carlile.
The eldest, Gracie, lives in New York City, and is a budding Broadway star, having most recently starred in a play featuring Marisa Tomei and Arliss Howard. Meanwhile Maggie, after earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University, went on to work as a Special Projects and Government Affairs Manager for Earth League International, per her LinkedIn, and is now an intelligence analyst for Major League Baseball.
