Jennifer Lopez spent some quality time with her child, Emme, during a break from her Las Vegas residency this week – but it didn't come cheap.
The 56-year-old and the 18-year-old were photographed visiting the luxury hair salon, MèCHE, in Beverly Hills after Jennifer treated Emme to a five-star lunch at the Mediterranean-style Maybourne Beverly Hills Hotel.
While Emme was the only one to have their hair done, the two emerged with very different looks.
Emme was pictured sitting in a chair as the stylist worked a diffuser through their hair while Jennifer patiently waited.
While it's unclear exactly which service Emme had, haircuts range from $275 to $400, and a blow-dry costs between $125 and $175.
Exiting the salon, Emme displayed their freshly styled, short curly locks, wearing baggy knee-length denim shorts, a short-sleeved, gray graphic tee, high-top Converse sneakers, and holding a camouflage baseball cap.
Jennifer, meanwhile, opted for her usual glamorous style and wore a knee-length black pencil skirt with a sleeveless, satin, black blouse, large sunglasses, and a designer handbag, leaving her hair down and straight in a center parting.

To celebrate the milestone, Jennifer posted a gushing tribute to her twins, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, on social media.
© Getty ImagesShe took to her Instagram page with a video compilation of many memories together, paying emotional tribute to them and highlighting that throughout all the ups and downs, including many marriages, it's always "been the three of us."
"You were born in the middle of the night, in the midst of the biggest, most beautiful snowstorm NY had seen in years!!" she wrote, fittingly on the day New York braced for another giant blizzard.
