A humble beginning

Brooks was born in Louisiana in 1997, as the eldest of four girls, and learned to work hard from her parents.

"I grew up with super humble beginnings – hardworking, blue-collar family. Living in New York and making money and being in the limelight was so far-fetched; they weren't even discussed," she told The Daily Front Row.

New York living

After leaving Tulane University, Brooks moved to NYC to try and make it as a model. "Most agencies or clients thought I was too curvy or busty," she told the Daily Mail. "I was too short, I was too tall, especially for the NYC market, and I was told by so many people I would never be able to succeed as a model."

Swimsuit dreams

Brooks' way into the modeling industry came when she entered the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit open casting call in 2019 on a whim.

"I was like, I don't have any money, but I'm just going to fly to Miami and stand in line for hours and hours and hope that I have a chance of getting in," she told Glamour.

"It was funny because most of the girls in line had an agency, and this was their way to get introduced. I was like, How could my agency believe me that little, that they sent other girls from the agency into the casting in New York and not me? So that just motivated me even more."

Finding fame

After securing the SI job, she went on to appear in the magazine several more times, which immediately boosted her career and made her one to watch in the modeling world.

Brooks competed in the 33rd season of Dancing With the Stars in 2024, and also landed a reality show, Love Thy Nader, which followed the model and her three sisters.

Self love

The blonde beauty has been open about how both the modeling industry and being in the public eye have severely affected her self-confidence. She underwent several cosmetic procedures, including a nose job, veneers, filler and Botox, and began to use GLP-1 weight loss medication to reach her ideal weight.

"If I didn’t get a job, I would say to [my old agency], 'Can we get feedback from the client?' The direct feedback was I needed to lose 30 pounds. I didn't shed one tear over it. I don't feel bad for myself," she recalled to Bustle.

"I just say, 'The facts are they want me to lose weight. How can I achieve that?'" She recently documented the journey of having her fillers removed and returning to her old look on social media.

Working hard

Livvy grew up in New Jersey and spent her entire childhood and adolescence hitting new heights as a gymnast. She transitioned to homeschooling at 14 years old so she could focus on the sport, and won a spot on the US National Team in 2017.

Making moves

Livvy announced her decision to retire from gymnastics in April 2025 after her fifth year at Louisiana State University. "I'm going to miss gymnastics so much because it has been a part of me for almost 20 years," she told the Associated Press"What's next? Everything. I want to do all of the things that I couldn't do while I was a gymnast."

Livvy will join Brooks in the upcoming Baywatch reboot, marking her on-screen debut. She will also appear alongside her in the 2026 SI Swimsuit Issue.
