Mariah Carey ushered in her 57th birthday on March 27 with an exciting announcement to her fans. The singer took to Instagram to share that she is releasing a new orchestral version of her hit song "Nothing Is Impossible".
In the message, she penned: "Lambs, Happy 3/27!! On my anniversary, I wanted to gift you something special as a thank you for the love you have always shown me."
She continued: "Nothing Is Impossible is a song that holds a very special place in my heart, and knowing how much it means to you makes it even more so . Performing it at the Olympics opening ceremony was a moment I will forever treasure.
"Today I'm sharing a new orchestral version co-produced by Daniel Moore and beautifully performed by the RoyNoyz Orchestra, which is available now as a bonus alongside the Volare/Nothing Is Impossible Medley. I hope you love it as much as I do. Love always and forever, Mariah."
Ageing secrets
Last year, the hitmaker opened up about ageing as she geared up for the release of her 16th studio album. "I don't allow it – it just doesn't happen," Mariah said of getting older to Harper's Bazaar. "I don't know time. I don't know numbers. I do not acknowledge time – I have a new song that starts with that line."
She added that her diva personality was an integral part of her brand and allowed her more freedom to speak her mind. "It's part of my job. What's the point of a disguise? Just get up, get dressed, go out," she said. "If I don't want to be seen, I'll stay home."
Back in 2018, Mariah told The Guardian that taking milk baths was a crucial part of her routine. "I bathe in milk," she told the publication. "Sometimes I use milk as a beauty treatment. I don't want to give away all my secrets."
Quizzed on whether she prefers the milk to be hot or cold, Mariah simply stated: "Cold milk. Well, I guess if there's no clean water and I had to use mineral water, maybe I would."
As for her makeup routine, she told Glamour US that she prefers prepping her eyes with shimmery colours rather than opting for a bold lip. "I'm better off with the eyes, I don't know why," she divulged. "I can do a reddish-brown or brown lip, but not a bright red. I just don't look good in it. Over the years you learn certain things that don't look good on you, and that's one of them for me."
