Melissa Joan Hart wasn't going to let a set of heels stop her from a workout.
The actress who lost close to 20lbs after ditching alcohol and sugar worked up a sweat in her dressing room, but there wasn't an item of lycra in sight.
Instead, Melissa, 49, conducted her renegade rows in sky high heels, pants, a shirt and sweater.
She put on an impressive display and captioned the post: "Fun new project I'm working on... and I asked for 15lb weights in my room to get my pump on.... in my pumps."
Weight loss
Fans sent her clapping hand emojis and called her "impressive" and "dedicated."
Melissa recently revealed she'd gone on a mission to feel better about herself and in the process, she'd lost weight.
She told People: "I just wanted to feel better. It had nothing to do with losing weight. I really didn't think I could lose weight anymore, being in midlife and perimenopause and all those things, I was like, ‘Can I really lose weight? I don't think I can.'" However, Melissa proved herself wrong, and went on to add: "I lost about 18 pounds last year."

The star realized that by "fasting and cutting sugars and cutting alcohol," she saw results.
Family life
© Melissa Joan HartMelissa is married to Mark Wilkerson, and the couple share sons Mason, 20, Braydon, 17, and Tucker, 13. They live in Nashville, having relocated from Connecticut during the pandemic.
"Without him behind me, I couldn't do what I do and entertain people because I would have to stay at home with the kids," she told Best Quality Designer Handbag . "I could not have asked for a better husband and a better partner in this world to raise these kids. He is a great husband but he's a fantastic dad and he just lives and breathes those boys. Everything he thinks about is for them. I'm lucky I have a husband who doesn't mind doing the cooking or doing the drop offs at school or going to the football games and he is so involved."
Move into politics?
© WorldVisionDespite her success in her acting career, Melissa has dabbled with going into politics. She told HELLO! she feels passionate about giving back, caring for the environment and ensuring a better world for the next generation.
"When my sister and I were kids, we'd draw homeless shelters and figure out how we could house unhoused people," said Melissa in 2025. "What would that look like? And if there are addiction issues, then there needs to be rehab, and then they get to come to the apartment. But then, how do they get food? Or what about a job? Maybe we give them a suit so they can go out and find a job? Then I moved to Los Angeles for Sabrina, and I locked into the LA charities, especially the LA mission, and I realized that they built homeless shelters very similar to what we were considering.
"We didn't have it right at the age of 10, but I always wanted to be a part of it, and I hope I've passed that down to my boys by getting them out there and letting them see the face of homelessness and not being afraid of people that are different and understanding that everyone has a story."
