Gabrielle Union may have once described working out as "torture," but judging by her latest bikini photos, that hasn't stopped her from hitting the gym.
The 53-year-old looked incredible during a recent family vacation, putting her sculpted physique on display in a strapless black two-piece that did little to hide her defined and toned muscles.
The actress shared a carousel of photos on Instagram, several of which showed her sunning herself on a yacht in her tiny bikini.
Another photo featured her posing for a mirror selfie in a brown two-piece with blue accents, and her rock-hard abs were hard to miss.
Other images included sweet snapshots with her husband, former NBA star Dwyane Wade, and with their friends and family.
While many of her followers showed their appreciation by commenting with heart-eyes and flame emojis, others were blown away by her seemingly ageless appearance.
"All the pictures are absolutely beautiful.. @gabunion you look 21 girl!" one wrote. A second said: "You just get more perfect with age." A third added: "Girl are you ever gonna age? You're gorgeous Gabriel! Play hard, work hard!"
Gabrielle certainly works hard on her body and revealed to Women's Health in 2020 that she typically works out three days a week for 50 minutes at a time.
"I like to mix it up so I don't get anxiety staring at the treadmill," she said. "Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill or sled pushes.
"The beauty of my workouts are that they change every session and day. It really depends on my mood, what my scenes are like action-wise," she added. "Basically I try to stay as flexible as possible."
Gabrielle revealed that in her quest to "mix it up," she'll "try everything," including kickboxing, cardio barre, and SoulCycle.
However, while she admitted she is "not a class person," and some workouts feel like "varying degrees of torture," she makes an exception for kickboxing.
"I like kickboxing because I can work out some aggression without judgment," she told Elle. "Because you can't go around hitting people, apparently they arrest you for that. A good boxing workout is the best stress, anxiety, and rage reliever there is, so I definitely look forward to that."
When it comes to her diet, the Bad Boys II star is all about moderation. "I'm not obsessive about food, like, 'Oh no, I ate badly, so I have to stay in the gym for two hours!'" she told Women's Health in 2017.
"At the end of the day, did I enjoy that meal? Hell, yes! Am I going to stress out about it? Hell, no! And, magically, the world doesn't end because of what I ate."
She added: "If I've inhaled some of my favorite foods one night, the next day I boost my water intake to a gallon and a half and just try to move. If I can't work out, I walk instead of drive, take the stairs rather than the elevator, and keep active."
