For just over two years, James Marsden, has been dating model Frederique Brons.
The actor, 51, and the Dutch model, 26, were first linked in October of 2023 and have apparently been going strong ever since.
They've been spotted on lunch dates and walking hand-in-hand, however, the pair made their debut red carpet appearance as a couple at the Emmy Awards in 2025.
The duo were first photographed as they were kissing in NYC in October 2023. A year later, the couple were also photographed enjoying a stroll while exploring NYC.
They keep their relationship private and both don't post about it on social media.
James expressed to Cosmopolitan what he prioritizes when it comes to relationships.
He revealed: "I find as I get older I'm more traditional and old-fashioned. I prefer face to face conversation as opposed to texting. You need to go out of your way to spend good time with one another, you need to have a date night. Whether you have kids or a career or whatever, for a relationship to thrive, it's about making time for each other."
James was previously married to Lisa Linde between 2000 up until 2011. The two welcomed their children Jack, 25, and Mary James, 20, into the world together.
The actor also shares his son William Luca, 13, with his former partner Rose Costa.
James called being a father his "proudest achievement," to Men's Health.
He revealed: "Of all my achievements in life, being a father is the one thing I'm most proud of. It is the most fulfilling. I'm always self-deprecating, but I don't have a problem saying that I am a great dad."
James expressed just how important it is to teach his children that it's okay to fail.
He added: "It takes seeing the hero mess up or fail at something to become a man. That, to me, has become more important than being this superstar, movie star, or an actor."
The star continued: "It's integrity and substance of character — it's like when [expletive] happens to you in hard times, who do you become because of that? Your kids look at you and that's how they define who and what they're supposed to be."
