Turns out, Paulina Porizkova deals with the same body insecurities we all do.
The supermodel turned 61 on April 9, and marked the occasion the day prior with a new video on social media, in which she tried out a new bikini and sundress.
Paulina wore a red and white patterned string bikini, flexing her muscles and toned physique for a bit, with her gray locks by her shoulders in loose waves.
New year, new confidence
She then put on her new striped sundress, with the overlaid audio in the clip (which you can watch above) sharing some of her insight into aging in the public eye and how she was at her most insecure when she was at the "height" of her modeling career in her early 20s.
"I understand that this might sound crazy to you, but 40 years ago, when I was 21 and I was at the height of my career and my supermodel-dom, that was when I felt the most insecure," she confessed.
"So today, I try on this cute summer bikini and I flex muscles that I work my cellulite-butt off for," she continued, emphasizing that she was putting in the work to actually "feel my best in this sixth decade." Although she then quipped she really wanted to look good "in my wedding dress," referencing her upcoming wedding to fiancé Jeff Greenstein.
The former America's Next Top Model judge included hashtags with her post like "between JLo and Betty White" and "this is 61" and "sexy has no expiration date," and fans certainly couldn't help themselves from raving over her confidence in the comments section.
"You're blessed with a gorgeous figure and lovely proportions — enjoy such a beautiful body! We won't have them forever and now's the time to celebrate," one gushed, with another adding: "Happy Birthday Paulina! You are an inspiration in all the ways!" and fellow model Amber Valletta commenting: "You're so beautiful and [fire]."
Her fiancé's tribute
Speaking of her wedding, Paulina's fiancé took to his own Instagram page to share a gushing tribute to his bride-to-be. "This is the fourth time we've celebrated P’s birthday together. The first, her 58th, we were still getting to know each other, as evidenced by how far off the mark I was with her birthday gift," he penned.
"Last year we celebrated her 60th in grand fashion in St. Barth's with friends and family. And this time it's three months before our wedding. My beloved, I am so very grateful you descended from the heavens sixty-one years ago today."
Jeff gushed: "You are the most brilliant, hilarious, beautiful, perceptive, devoted, passionate, fully realized human being I've ever known, and I'm beyond lucky to be on this journey with you — for twenty good summers, and then whatever the rest of our summers are like. Still can't believe we met. Still can't believe we fell in love," signing it "your huckleberry friend."
