Rick Astley proved he’s still got it as he stepped out for the opening night of his Reflection Tour in Glasgow, turning heads with his strikingly youthful appearance at 60.

Taking to the stage at the OVO Hydro on April 10, the 1980s hitmaker looked effortlessly stylish in a tailored caramel-toned suit paired with a forest-green shirt,  a modern yet classic look that perfectly matched his timeless appeal.

With his signature quiff neatly in place and his complexion glowing under the stage lights, Rick appeared decades younger as he performed to a packed crowd.

But it wasn’t just his looks that had fans talking. The singer’s voice, instantly recognisable and as rich as ever,  filled the arena as he delivered a string of his biggest hits. From the opening moments, the atmosphere was electric, with audiences singing along word-for-word to the songs that defined a generation.

Rick rose to international fame in the late 1980s with chart-topping singles including Never Gonna Give You Up, Together Forever and Whenever You Need Somebody. His debut album of the same name went on to sell millions worldwide, cementing his place as one of the era’s most beloved pop stars.

And nearly four decades on, his appeal shows no sign of fading. During the Glasgow show, Rick moved effortlessly between upbeat classics and more reflective moments, engaging the crowd with warmth and humour.

At one point, he gestured playfully to the audience while holding his guitar, a reminder of the natural ease that has always defined his performances.

Off stage, the star looked equally polished, seen mingling at an event in the same sharply tailored suit, further proving that his style, much like his music, has stood the test of time.

After largely stepping out of the spotlight in the '90s to focus on his family, he made a return to music in the millennium – only to get a hilarious second life thanks to the viral “Rickrolling” prank, baiting unsuspecting viewers with a surprise blast of his signature tune.

"I never could have imagined back in 1987 that Never Gonna Give You Up would still be going strong decades later," he said in a statement, according to USA Today

"Thanks to streaming platforms, a whole new generation has been able to discover music like mine. Reaching 1 billion streams is something I never dreamed of and to everyone who’s ever listened, thank you."

Today, Rick’s proved he’s really never gonna give us up,  releasing his most recent album, Are We There Yet?, in 2023, and gearing up to embark on a UK and Ireland tour in 2026.
