Forget method dressing, Sheinelle Jones is coordinating her sartorial agenda to the cover of her new book, Through Mom's Eyes: Simple Wisdom From Mothers Who Raised Extraordinary Humans.
The TODAY Show host has been embracing bold hot pink in her recent looks, and she debuted her most striking ensemble yet at her book launch at Double Knot in New York City on April 15.
Sheinelle wore a strapless top with a bandeau neckline, accented by a dramatic side train. She paired the statement piece with wide-leg black tailored trousers and a gold bangle. Her dark locks were slicked back into an elegant ponytail while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye, a pinch of blush, and a glossy lip.

In the lead-up to the event, Sheinelle leaned into a spectrum of pink hues throughout the week. For the Fourth Hour of the show, she wore a pale pink linen dress with a round neckline and voluminous open sleeves.
Sheinelle released her debut book, Through Mom's Eyes, on April 14. The concept of the book, a collection of stories and lessons from the mothers of the likes of Lady Gaga, Stephen Curry, the Williams sisters, Matthew McConaughey and more, was first crafted in 2020, but ultimately delayed after the new author's husband Uche Ojeh's fatal cancer battle.
"I started this book thinking that it would be a simple guide to maybe what some of these women did right, what they did wrong … and it certainly is, for sure, but it turned out to be so much more," Sheinelle previously shared on the show.
© Instagram"I think these women empowered me in ways that I didn't know I needed," she added. "I'm hoping that when women read it, whether you're an auntie, a grandmother, a mom, a teacher, a coach, if you work with children, I think you'll be touched by some of the wisdom that they shared."

However, she typically favors more modest necklines, making the strapless bandeau design a daring departure for Sheinelle as she steps into a new chapter of her career.
