Dylan Dreyer made a relatable parenting revelation during the April 17 instalment of the TODAY Show, sharing that she, too, still uses outdated beauty products. Joined by her co-stars Laura Jarrett and Christine Romans on the Third Hour segment, Today's Checklist – which focused on cleaning out your medicine cabinet – Dylan shared a candid admission about a parenting mishap she once made.
"If you've got sunscreen sitting around for more than a year, one you're probably not using it enough, two you've got to toss it," advised the beauty specialist during the segment. "I love that advice because you're probably not using it enough. You don't want to have to toss it," replied Christine.
However, Dylan went on to admit that she's been guilty of doing the very same thing. "I've used expired sunscreen on my kids and it doesn't work. Whoops. Sorry boys," she said.

Dylan shares three sons, Calvin, Oliver, and Rusty with her ex-husband, Brian Fichera. The couple met while working at the same news station in Boston and tied the knot in 2012. Dylan and Brian moved to New York City and welcomed Calvin in 2016, Oliver in 2020, and Rusty in 2021.

"For many years, I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between," wrote Dylan, with the words superimposed onto a picture of a sunset over a dock. "I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you've given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate. We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends. Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another," she added, before concluding: "Thank you as always for your support."
Dylan and her sons relocated to a new house in the suburbs of Long Island at the end of last year. The television star launched her own podcast, The Parent Chat with Dylan Dreyer, in conjunction with TODAY on April 2.
