On Saturday, April 18, Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom announced that they had officially become parents.

The Fallout star, 54, and the Paradise actress, 32, announced their engagement after a period of quiet dating in August of 2024, tying the knot in March of the following year and revealing they were expecting their first child together shortly after.

Over the weekend, the couple shared a photo of Justin with their newborn baby boy lying on his chest, captioning it: "He's here. We are so in love."

Amid the wave of congratulatory messages of love from friends and family, a subtle show of support came from Justin's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, who liked the post announcing their son's arrival.

Justin and Nicole were first spotted together in 2023, although the former didn't really address their relationship until much later, opening up more about how they met during a 2024 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

"A friend of ours was having a party at their restaurant," he explained. "The first impression was wow. And then a friend of mine, who was with me, literally said, 'That's the one.' We hadn't even met yet, but I thought, 'She's so stunning.' So I went over, started talking, and it just progressed from there."

Justin and Jennifer, 57, started dating in 2011 after they worked together on the film Wanderlust. They tied the knot in 2015, but separated two years later, officially divorcing in 2018.

Despite their separation, the pair still remain close friends, frequently shouting each other out on social media, especially during birthdays. Since summer of 2025, Jennifer has been dating celebrity-loved hypnotherapist and wellness guide Jim Curtis.

And as it turns out, Jennifer isn't one to hold grudges against any of her exes, according to her close friend and The Morning Show collaborator Reese Witherspoon. "She's not who people think she is — like, holding onto old things. She's not holding onto old things," Reese said during an appearance on Dax Shepard's podcast Armchair Expert.

"And by the way, at her 50th birthday — one of the biggest testaments I can say to what a wonderful person she is — people from her teenage years, people from her 20s, people who work in her home, every ex-husband, ex-boyfriend was there," Reese continued, gushing: "She just is a high spiritual-integrity person."

Speaking with Esquire in 2023, Justin explained that while he and Jennifer maintain a good relationship in the real world, he refrains from talking about her publicly. "There's something to, once you're out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we're in," he noted.

"People will always want to gossip and say things, but you have to find that balance."

"And I'm not trying to be evasive, but I talk to Jen – I don't talk about Jen. People will always want to gossip and say things, but you have to find that balance. And having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship. Me saying anything, even if it was something loving, it would just turn into a thing. So it's a classic no-comment situation for me."
