Heidi Klum has welcomed summer early from the comfort of her stunning home, where a sprawling swimming pool overlooks the towering mountains of Bel-Air.
The supermodel took to Instagram this week to share a video of her sprawling backyard located at her Bel-Air mansion that's worth a whopping $9.8million. The short clip showed her posing beside the pool in a brown triangle bikini, paired with a colorful sarong as she soaked up the sun.
In the caption, she penned: "Best time of the day."
Heidi purchased her home in the exclusive Stone Ridge section of Bel Air in 2013 following her divorce from Seal. The Georgian-style mansion boasts a 11,000 square foot design and features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The exterior is strikingly grand, boasting white columns that frame a stately brick façade, along with an elegant circular driveway.
The German native has previously opened up about how she incorporates swimming into her fitness routine. "I'm fortunate enough to have a pool at home and, when the pandemic started, I began swimming 20 laps a day. Low-impact exercise like this is much better for my joints than running on a treadmill," she told Women's Health.
"I jump on the trampoline in the garden at my home in LA and do body-weight exercises – including lots of squats. I get plenty of movement from running around after four children, two dogs and a cat."
Heidi's backyard also features homegrown vegetables that she eats for a balanced diet. "I've started a little vegetable patch in my garden. I have fun with the kids making squash muffins. It's good for them to see healthy meals made from scratch," she added.
When she's not in Los Angeles, Heidi typically resides in New York. The supermodel acquired a fixer-upper penthouse in SoHo for $5.1 million in 2018. The property measures 4,772 square feet and is complete with tall ceilings, hardwood floors, and large windows.
Heidi shares four children – Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou – with her ex-husband, Seal. "I love having a house where they feel safe," she told People. "My son was barbecuing with his friends in the backyard the other day and doing all the things I taught him. It was so cute. For me, it's always the more, the merrier. I like it when they're all at home."
"When they're young, you're worried they're going to jump in the pool or stick their finger in a socket," she said, saying that next comes the "driving," and "then it's sex, drugs and rock and roll."
