Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' daughter, Lola, is celebrating her milestone anniversary with her boyfriend, Cassius Kidston. The budding musician took to her Instagram Stories on April 27 to repost a photograph of the pair to mark their special day.
The image captured Cassius lifting Lola into his arms as they shared a kiss, framed by a breathtaking mountain backdrop mid-hike. In the caption, she penned: "Another year of pure magic, you're heavenly."
The couple met at New York University, and Cassius first appeared on Lola's Instagram around 2022, one year before she graduated from NYU. It wasn't until 2023, however, that she confirmed their relationship, and has since then shared several photos with her boyfriend, including on vacation with her family.
© InstagramLola and Cassius reside in London, with Kelly and Mark's daughter pursuing a career as a singer and Cassius working as a Sports Talent Sales Assistant at Creative Arts Agency (CAA). He was born in 1999 to Simon and Rosie Kidston, the former being the founder of Kidston Motor Cars.
Family dynamic
It seems the young couple are in it for the long haul, as their respected families even joined together to celebrate Thanksgiving last year. Kelly and Mark discussed meeting their future in-laws during an episode of LIVE at the time.
"Our daughter's boyfriend's parents came over for dinner," shared Mark. "I like them so much, they're not our in-laws, but they're my daughter's boyfriend's parents."
© Getty ImagesKelly then gushed over Simon and Rosie. "They are chic, they are British. Simon is the blonde James Bond, very suave," she added. "They are basically the opposite of us."
"Rosie is divine, she's so funny, and has great energy," added Mark. "But they are six and a half feet tall." The couple went on to share an anecdote about the first time Simon and Rosie visited their home.
"Kelly said they might hear circus music when they see us," said Mark. "When they came in, they immediately hit their head on every light fixture we have in our house. I could tell just by the visual expression that they had never seen such small people in their life," added Kelly.
Lola's music career
© InstagramLola made her debut performance in London at The Lower Third, a multi-space music and cocktail venue on Denmark Street in Soho. Kelly spoke to us about the show and how proud she felt of her daughter. "We are beside ourselves. She's been working so hard and her hard work paid off and guess what? We pulled off the ultimate surprise," she shared.
"She didn't know we were here and we wanted to wait until it was all over to surprise her. We didn't want to make her nervous."
Lola also spoke to us about her surprise over her parents' attendance. "I cried because I didn't know they were coming!" added Lola. "You saw my reaction!"
