Nicole Kidman's daughter Sunday Rose may have enjoyed the exclusive perk few have, attending the Met Gala earlier this week, but she still has typical teenage responsibilities.
On Monday, May 4, the budding model was her mother's plus one for the star-studded fundraiser, of which the Scarpetta actress was a co-chair alongside Anna Wintour, Beyonce and Venus Williams.
And while the 17-year-old as well as the "CUFF IT" singer's 14-year-old daughter Blue Ivy were allowed to attend the glitzy ball despite its age restriction of 18, the nepo-baby perks didn't extend to skipping school.
© Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for TheSpeaking with Vogue correspondent Lala Anthony, Nicole, who wore a custom red sequined gown by Matthieu Blazy for Chanel, said Sunday Rose, who wore a light pink gown with 3D flowers by Jonathan Anderson for Dior, had been "so calm" throughout the intense preparations leading up to the Met Gala.
"She has to go to school tomorrow morning … by 8 A.M. Keeping it real," Nicole then shared, revealing there wouldn't be any after parties for Sunday Rose.
Nicole and her ex-husband Keith Urban , from whom she split last year, raised both Sunday Rose and their youngest daughter Faith Margaret, 15, in Nashville, Tennessee, though it's unclear whether they are homeschooled, or if Sunday would be attending school remotely the Tuesday after the Met.

"[My dress] is really special to me because I wanted to kind of symbolize something like blooming, it's my first Met," she said.
Since her split from Keith — the couple tied the knot in 2006 and finalized their divorce in January 2026 — Nicole, who also shares daughter Bella Cruise, 32, and Connor Cruise, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, has become her daughters' primary residential parent.

© Getty ImagesMoreover, the outlet previously reported neither party will receive monthly child support, but rather they will operate according to an "other" agreement they worked out in which Keith has "already prepaid all child support obligations."
Nicole signed the documents on September 6 while Keith signed them on August 29, three weeks before news of their split broke. They have also agreed to not speak badly of each other or other members of their family of the other parent, and will "encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families," and, they are both also required to attend a parenting seminar within 60 days of the divorce filing, which was by the end of November.
