Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' son Joaquin stepped into the spotlight in a suave tuxedo for the 79th Tony Awards. The 23-year-old took to Instagram following the weekend celebration to share a carousel of photographs from the evening.
Joaquin opted for a sleek black tuxedo suit that consisted of a velvet blazer with glossy lapels, a crisp white shirt and a sophisticated bow tie. His hair was slicked back with a side parting and he accessorized with a silver watch. The first photograph captured the budding actor posing in the auditorium.
"The Tony's was a movie," he penned in the caption. Kelly flocked to the comments section to gush over her son's handsome appearance. "Chic!" she wrote with a string of fire emojis. "Mr handsome! We're all so proud," added family friend David Muir. "Hellll yaaaaaaa," commented Joaquin's sister, Lola.
© InstagramJoaquin attended the event as a cast member for Death of a Salesman, which was the night's biggest winner with six total trophies, including Best Revival of a Play. He was joined at the Tony Awards by both his parents, with Mark attending as one of the leading cast members of Fallen Angels, which was nominated for five prizes (and took home one for Costume Design of a Play).
Kelly looked incredible in a navy floral maxi dress that featured short sleeves and a figure-hugging silhouette, The bold garment was paired with a diamond-encrusted statement necklace and a simple black leather clutch bag. Her luscious blonde locks were styled into soft waves with a side parting while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and a nude-stained lip. Mark coordinated with his son in a classic black tuxedo layered over a tailored white shirt.
Joaquin, who is represented by CAA & Untitled, is set to portray the character Colby in Hulu's upcoming pilot Foster Dade, adapted from Nash Jenkins' novel Foster Dade Explores the Cosmos.
