Having enjoyed a long career in television, Mariella has interviewed some of the biggest names in film, music, literature and politics from Paul McCartney to Salman Rushdie to Desmond Tutu and Hilary Clinton. Her groundbreaking documentary in 2018 on menopause helped to start a national discourse, while her Panorama investigation into peer pressure raised the question of whether we should be doing more to protect our children.
A force for menopause activism in the UK, Mariella was named one of Vogue’s 25 most influential women in the UK, she is a co-founder of campaign group Menopause Mandate, and has spoken and written widely about the importance of menopause education, equality, and informed choice around the subject. Mariella chairs the Women In Work Summit in both the UK and USA which strives for gender equality in the workplace.
