Brooklyn "had no other option"
In the comments sections, Best Quality Designer Handbag reader Lisa has got in touch to lend her support to Brooklyn and Nicola, arguing any in change in their narrative in recent times over the wedding "makes total sense" because Brooklyn up until last year was still aiming to have a relationship with his parents.
"I think Brooklyn is wholeheartedly telling the truth in his recent Instagram statement," writes Lisa. "And I feel empathy for him that he felt he had no other option other than to tell the truth - however brutal."

Dancing queen Victoria
Back in January last year, Best Quality Designer Handbag 's Deputy Online Editor, Sharnaz Shahid, attended the launch of David Beckham's BOSS ONE Bodywear campaign in London - and all of the family, bar Brooklyn and Nicola, were out in full force.
The family lit up the dance floor all night, including dancing queen Victoria, while Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie looked super love-up while they spun around the dance floor.

Alana Hadid weighs in
Alana Hadid, who is Nicola Peltz's ex-boyfriend's sister, has weighed in on the Beckham drama.
Alana, 40, is the sister of models Gigi and Bella, as well as internet personality Marielle and model Anwar - who Nicola dated from 2016 to 2018.
Alana responded to a comment made by photographer Eli Rezkallah on social media, who wrote: "Ending an eight paragraph rant about his family's dirty laundry with 'all we want is privacy' is all I need to know,"
In response, Alana penned: "Right and that girl doesn't want privacy she's been trying to be famous for a decade."
Brooklyn's photography book on sale for nearly £300
Brooklyn's photography book, What I See, is on sale for almost £300.
The 2017 release, which was mocked on social media when it first hit the shelves, features photographs taken by the then-18-year-old, offering glimpses into his home life. One photo which received attention online was a dimly-lit shot of an elephant.
Copies of the book, which was originally sold for £17, are now being listed for on eBay for big sums of money. One seller listed the item for £297.63.
Brooklyn Beckham's ex-girlfriend speaks out
Singer Tallia Storm, who is Brooklyn's ex-girlfriend, has shared her thoughts on the Beckham drama. The 27-year-old, who dated Brooklyn when they were teenagers, said she was "100% Team Brooklyn".
Speaking to The Mirror about Brooklyn's statement, she said: "My first thought was, good for him. People have all heard a million stories over the years, and I just think, God bless Brooklyn for just coming out and sticking up for himself
"I think he’s just had enough. I am 100% Team Brooklyn. I think what that boy has gone through over all these years, in that Beckham ‘web’, as I call it, is a lot. It’s a lot on any person. So, good on him, saying, ‘enough is enough’. This is him taking back his power."
Brooklyn and Nicola's dinner with Prince Harry and Meghan
Did you know that back in May last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reporteddly welcomed Brookyln and his wife Nicola to their home in Montecito, California?
At the time, reports of a rift in the Beckham family were rife. However, according to PEOPLE, the timing of the dinner was pure coincidence, and the couple weren't directly invited by Harry and Meghan.

There's been a lot of surprises for the Beckham family in the past few days, but a revival of Victoria's long-dormant music career is certainly the biggest one.

Key updates
Welcome to the Beckham Blog, and I'll be taking you through the rest of the day.
Here are all the key updates from the last few hours:
Brooklyn's ex, Tallia Storm, says she's 'Team Brooklyn'.
Speaking to The Mirror about Brooklyn's statement, she said: "My first thought was, good for him. People have all heard a million stories over the years, and I just think, God bless Brooklyn for just coming out and sticking up for himself."
Nicola's ex's sister, Alana Hadid, has also weighed in on the drama, alleging Nicola "doesn't want privacy, she's been trying to be famous for a decade".
A guest at the wedding has confirmed Brooklyn's allegations over the 'hijacked' wedding dance.

Mother-son dynamic
In an exclusive interview with HELLO! in 2021, then-22-year-old Brooklyn spoke about following in his mother's footsteps as he dove into the world of fashion from a business perspective for the first time, having been crowned as Superdry's first sustainability ambassador.
At the time, his comments read as a typical mother-son dynamic although they take on a slightly stranger read through the darker lens of Brooklyn's recent statements.
Ex-romances
One of the more interesting accusations from Brooklyn Beckham was the claim that his mom would often bring ex-girlfriends back into his life against his wishes to sabotage his relationship with Nicola.
While Brooklyn didn’t state who the ex-girlfriends were in his explosive statement, he has been linked to several high-profile women including Tallia Storm, who has said she is "Team Brooklyn," and Chloe Grace Moretz.
This is an interesting read from Lauren, diving into Brooklyn's past romances and their connection with VB.
Yogi's House
I like this deep dive into Yogi's House, the non-profit Nicola founded and which Brooklyn claimed his parents refused to support.

That's all from us for this Beckham Blog.
Almost four days after Brooklyn dropped the bombshell, Victoria and David have yet to break their silence, but sides have been taken with A-list friends creating "teams" and op-eds left, right, and center.
So I'm going to close us out with these words from Victoria herself: "I think being kind is key now. There are so many horrible things going on in the world."
