Good morning
Good morning all!
We'll be keeping you up-to-date with all the latest from the Beckham family fall-out following Brooklyn's scathing statement in which he dubbed his parents "controlling" and said he did not want to reconcile with them.
Don't go anywhere.
Victoria Beckham breaks her silence
Victoria Beckham has broken her silence following Brooklyn's bombshell statement with a social media post.
Posting on her Instagram Stories to mark fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton's 50th birthday, Victoria shared a throwback photo of the pair, alongside the caption: "Happy birthday @emmaleebunton. I love you so much!!"
In a second post, Victoria shared a clip from the music video of their 1996 hit 'Say You'll Be There', which showed Emma singing her solo verse. She penned alongside the clip: "Happy birthday Baby. Kisses xxx."
Inside Nicola's family home where the couple can regroup
In case you missed it, we did a deep dive into where Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz could retreat to recoup as the drama unfolds.
The pair live in Los Angeles, but her parents' $76 million Palm Beach estate would be quite the luxury spot to make the most of some family time. It is here that the couple enjoyed some time under the wings of billionaire Nelson and his wife, Claudia Peltz, Nicola's parents, over Christmas and the New Year.
David Beckham breaks his silence
David Beckham has broken his silence, taking to Instagram for the first time since his son Brooklyn's bombshell statement on Monday night.
The former England footballer posted a story in tribute to his former teammate Nicky Butt, who celebrates his birthday today.
"Happy Birthday mate," David penned alongside a throwback photo of himself and Nicky on the pitch in Manchester United kits.
Another of David's former teammates, Phil Neville, also celebrates his birthday today. David wrote alongside a picture of Phil and his wife Julie, saying: "Happy Birthday you too."
Romeo Beckham breaks cover with public appearance
Amid the ongoing fallout, Romeo Beckham broke his cover, stepping out in public yesterday with his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
Captured in photos published by the Daily Mail, Romeo and Kim were spotted out in London's Notting Hill while taking his dog for a walk. Dressed casually, Romeo opted for a hooded jacket, beanie, and Looney Tunes Uggs as he attempted to fly under the radar.
How Brooklyn is keeping busy amid the feud
Brooklyn Beckham has given HELLO! an exclusive insight into what is keeping him busy at this tumultuous time in his private life.
Earlier this month, prior to breaking his silence on his famous family, the 26-year-old creator of Cloud23 hot sauces was spotted in the kitchen of Le Bilboquet Market in Palm Beach, Florida.
Here, he put his own spin on Bilboquet's Cajun chicken sandwich.
"I am excited to kick up the world-famous Bilboquet Cajun chicken with my Sweet Jalapeno hot sauce," Brooklyn said in an exclusive statement to HELLO!.
Culinary director of Le Bilboquet Market, Chef François Payard, joined Brooklyn in the kitchen. "I've had a blast working with Brooklyn in my kitchen. I love that he's getting a whole new generation interested in cooking, and I'm really excited for his new hot venture," the world-renowned chef told us.
Why Nicola Peltz-Beckham said 'no' to UK move
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz live in Los Angeles and especially since his scathing statement about his parents, the 26-year-old is unlikely to make a move back to the UK.
In 2022, Nicola told Tatler about her and Brooklyn's future living plans. When quizzed on whether she would move to London, Nicola answered honestly, saying: "I would say no, but you never know. Just because I love knowing I am so close to my family."
Cruz Beckham's latest social media post
Before his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham broke their social media silence following Brooklyn Beckham's bombshell social media address, his brother Cruz took to social media to share an Instagram post.
The 20-year-old, who is a budding musician and has a London show booked for 27 March, shared a photo of what seemed to be a music studio featuring a patterned rug with his electric guitar in the corner.
Truth behind Brooklyn's wedding dance confirmed
In a resurfaced TikTok video from 2023, South African singer Lloyiso, who sang at the 2022 Beckham-Peltz wedding, has given his side of the story when it comes to Brooklyn Beckham's first dance.
Having performed for free, Lloyiso claimed that once he had auditioned for the couple, he was asked to perform a song on the day for Nicola Peltz and Nelson Peltz's father-daughter dance, while Brooklyn and Nicola had a separate first dance.
Will Brooklyn Beckham drop the Beckham name?
Having said he has no plans to reconcile with his family, Brooklyn Beckham has left fans wondering if he will drop the Beckham name.
Reflecting on the days leading up to his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn wrote: "Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.
"They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since."
Whether Brooklyn will drop his surname is yet to be confirmed by the star himself, but Simarjot Singh Judge, a solicitor and founder of Judge Law, told HELLO! that the process of Brooklyn changing his name would be incredibly simple. "In England and Wales, an adult can change their surname at any time via deed poll," he said. "Brooklyn would not need parental consent to do so, and the process itself is legally straightforward."
How is Marc Anthony involved in the Beckham drama?
Marc Anthony, the American singer and ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez has been swept up in the drama as he was referenced by Brooklyn Beckham in his statement on Monday evening.
He wrote: "My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me.
"She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life," he continued.
According to reports from People magazine and E! News last year, Brooklyn and Nicola thought that Marc was gifting them a live first dance musical performance, but after Brooklyn took to the stage, the singer said, "Please welcome to the stage the most beautiful woman in the room — Victoria Beckham."
In case you missed it...
In case you missed it, yesterday a guest at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's wedding spoke up about the dance that took place at their 2022 nuptials that was referenced in Brooklyn's scathing statement about his relationship with his parents.
Brooklyn claimed that the American singer Marc Anthony was due to gift them a performance at their wedding, but instead he called Brooklyn on stage during the time his first dance with Nicola was scheduled and Victoria Beckham was waiting to dance with him instead. He alleged the dance was "inappropriate".
According to the Tab, a guest at the wedding, Stavros Agapiou, the husband of DJ Fat Tony, said in a now-deleted Instagram comment: "I was there, and she did; he's telling the truth."
Brooklyn's bedroom at his parents' London home
In 2024, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham revealed he still had his own bedroom at his parents' London home despite his relocation to the US with his wife, Nicola, and amid rumours that family relations had already broken down.
Speaking to The Times in January 2024, Brooklyn spoke fondly of the UK family visits, where he would stay at Victoria and David's Holland Park residence, which is estimated to be worth £31 million.
"When I'm in London it's more about hangin' out with my family," he told journalist Julia Llewellyn Smith, who reflected in a story on Tuesday this week: '"[Brooklyn] told me he still had a room in the family home in Holland Park and laughed uproariously at my joke that Victoria might have turned it into a walk-in wardrobe."

Cruz Beckham reacts to mum Victoria's 'inappropriate wedding dance'
Cruz Beckham has broken his silence after Brooklyn's claims that his mum Victoria danced "inappropriately" at his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz and left him "humiliated".
The 20-year-old singer 'liked' a video, made by Instagram comedian Olly, which mocked the claim.

Victoria supports son Cruz on Instagram
Victoria Beckham took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to share her support for her son, Cruz, after his gig at London's Courtyard Theatre in March sold out just minutes after it went on sale.
"Wow," wrote Victoria, sharing the picture of Cruz's band that celebrated the news.
David Beckham's first interview after Brooklyn's statement
It was less than 24 hours after Brooklyn's statement that David Beckham was pictured at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The former footballer was there as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, as well as a partner of Authentic Brands Group and co-owner of Inter Miami CF.
In his first interview with CNBC's Squawk Box, David reflected on the impact of social media – especially on children.
"I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media… For the good and for the bad. What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous," he said.
"But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons. I've been able to use my platform for my following, for UNICEF. And it has been the biggest tool to make people aware of what's going on around the world for children."
He continued: "And I have tried to do the same with my children, to educate them. They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids, you sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well."

Victoria's comments about family and parenthood
With the internet abuzz with everything Beckham right now, some of Victoria's comments from an appearance on the Today show have resurfaced from October 2022.
Speaking to hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, Victoria reflected on she balances parenthood with her career. "The kids grow up so quickly, and it's about cherishing every moment," she said.
""We're a very close family, it's all about communication and being present as a parent. I love to work, I love what I do in fashion and beauty. But being a parent, being a good mum is my number one job."
She continued: "They're amazing. They work hard, they're good, sweet, kind human beings, and I think that that's what you want as a parent."

8 burning Beckham questions we need answering
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's two weddings
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz surprised fans last year when they renewed their vows just three years after they initially tied the knot in an opulent ceremony in 2022.
In his social media statement released on Tuesday, Brooklyn explained the second ceremony, writing: "We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment."

Brooklyn gains more than 700k followers since statement
It's been a big week for Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, after breaking his silence over the rumoured feud with his family in a series of social media posts that have since taken over the internet.
In new stats from SEO Agency Dark Horse, it's been revealed that the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham gained a whopping 784,720 followers on Instagram since Monday, marking an uptick of 4.88%.
Brooklyn had around 16,066,910 followers before the post dropped, but it now stands at around 16.8 million.

Beckham catch-up
What a week it's been for Brand Beckham.
On January 19, Brooklyn Beckham broke his silence on the family feud, alleging a history of manipulation by his parents, Victoria and David, accusing his mother of refusing to dress his wife Nicola for their wedding day, and claiming that he was left "humiliated" when Victoria danced inappropriately with her son during the reception.
Victoria and David have not responded to the bombshell claims, and Victoria ignored them entirely when she broke her social media silence to wish her friend Emma Bunton a happy 50th birthday.
Stavros Agapiou, the husband of DJ Fat Tony, seemingly confirmed Brooklyn's version of events, writing: I was there, and she did; he's telling the truth."

Duelling dances
There are always three sides to every story, and I'm fascinated by Brooklyn's claims that his mother "hijacked" his first dance with wife Nicola.
His statement read: "In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife. But instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."
However, the original Vogue story, which covered the 2022 wedding exclusively, reported that Brooklyn "invited his mother on stage for a dance".
"At 11pm, the circular stage revolved 180 degrees, and Marc Anthony magically appeared for a live set that opened with "I Need To Know." Brooklyn invited his mother on stage for a dance, and they were joined by David and their 10-year-old daughter, Harper," it read, with the copy revealing Brooklyn and Nicola had their first dance at another point in the evening to a cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love".
2022 v 2025
Three years after their Palm Beach wedding, Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their vows, and at the time there was confusion about why they had made the decision so close to their first ceremony.
One of the biggest differences between the big days was that while all of Nicola's family were present at the 2025 ceremony - her dad Nelson officiating the big day - Brooklyn's family was noticeably absent from the occasion. The pair are believed to have invited around 100 to 200 guests, with none of the extended Beckham family invited.
Commenting on his intentions behind the vow renewal, Brooklyn has now shared: "We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment."

Nanny Sandra
To be a fly on the wall at the Beckhams now... did you spot this moment in Brooklyn's statement in which he dragged Nanny Sandra into the chat?
"During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me 'evil' because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola's Naunni at our table, because they both didn't have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours," wrote Brooklyn.
Nanny Sandra is David's mother, and has been very close to Brooklyn throughout his life.
Good morning!
Good morning!
As another day dawns, the Beckham family fall-out continues following Brooklyn's bombshell statement in which he accused his parents of controlling narratives in the press and trying to "ruin" his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
We'll be keeping you updated with the latest news, so stay tuned!
Brooklyn's vow renewal 'snub'
According to reports published after Brooklyn and Nicola's vow renewal in August last year, the 26-year-old chef left his parents, David and Victoria, out of his speech.
The couple first tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in 2022 at Nicola's family estate in Florida, before renewing their vows three years later in August 2025.
Their vow renewal was a much more intimate affair, with only 200 guests at the New York gathering.
Notably missing from their nuptials were David and Victoria, along with Brooklyn's siblings.
Nicola Peltz's tactical mirroring of Victoria Beckham
Before Brooklyn's public declaration about a rift between him and his family, it seemed as though his wife Nicola and her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, got on well - especially when it came to their love of fashion.
Of course, Spice Girl Victoria is known for her fashion brand, and over the years, Nicola has stepped out in some her mother-in-laws intricately designed garments, even twinning with Victoria on some occasions.
HELLO!'s Fashion and Beauty News Editor, Laura Sutcliffe, has looked back at all the time Nicola has mirrored Victoria's style.
Victoria's first solo single climbs the charts, after 25 years
Days after her son Brookyln released a scathing statement about their family feud, Victoria's 2001 official debut single 'Not Such An Innocent Girl' is climbing the iTunes chart in the UK and Ireland.
Victoria was the last of the Spice Girls to pursue a solo career. Her debut single peaked at number six in the UK Singles Chart, and faced huge competition from Kylie Minogue's mega hit, 'Can't Get You Out of my Head', which went to number one.
