Tess Daly has announced a big change at the family home she shares with husband Vernon Kay. The TV star couple have lived at the £5million property in Buckinghamshire, along with their two daughters, Phoebe and Amber, for almost five years.
Now, in a new Instagram post, the former Strictly Come Dancing host, 56, has revealed that Phoebe, 21, will be living in the US for months. She shared a throwback photo of her hugging her eldest child with Vernon, 51, with whom she has been married since 2003.
Tess - who last year announced she was stepping back from the hit BBC dance show - wrote: "Phoebe found this pic for Mother's Day and it genuinely feels like yesterday and now she's 21 and in living NYC until summer! Time flies!" The post has received more than 13,000 'likes'.
Among those to comment was her lookalike daughter Phoebe herself, who wrote: "Love youuuuu." Meanwhile, the mother-of-two's Strictly co-star Claudia Winkleman shared a string of red 'love heart' emojis.
It is unclear exactly what Phoebe is doing in New York; however, her parents visited her in the city last month. Sharing a carousel of snaps from the trip, Tess - who lived in the city herself for five years in the 1990s - shared: "I NYC. Maximised every minute on a whirlwind half-term trip and fell in love with this magical city all over again."
Phoebe's relocation at the start of the year appears to be temporary. She shared a reel in February and wrote: "NYC has my heart, grateful to call it home for a while…" Meanwhile, her younger sister Amber, 16, is understood to still be living at home with her famous parents.

Since moving into their countryside abode in 2021, Tess and Vernon - who met at a BBC Christmas party in the early stages of their presenting careers - have shared glimpses of their home on social media. It comes with a gym, as well as an outdoor pool and a vegetable patch, according to the Evening Standard.
Speaking to the Daily Mail the same year, Tess revealed how she and Vernon have raised their daughters to be "grounded" and "know the value of everything". She added: "They have good morals and respect others. It's everything."
Tess also shared: "Phoebe didn't even know I worked on TV until she was about seven! She had no idea until she saw me once and said, 'there's my mum!'. She just thought I went to work on a Saturday because to them it is work."
