Catherine Tate has been making audiences laugh for years on-screen with her eponymous '00s series, The Catherine Tate Show, and comedic roles in the BBC sitcom Queen of Oz and the US version of The Office, to name a couple - and she's back on TV tonight as her iconic character 'Nan' for the Comic Relief: Funny for Money special. It seems the actress has passed on her comedy chops to her rarely-seen 23-year-old daughter, who happens to look just like her famous mum.
The Doctor Who actress has a daughter named Erin, whom she welcomed in January 2003 with her boyfriend at the time, stage manager Twig Clark. Like her famous mum, Erin isn't camera shy and has managed to build a following of thousands on TikTok with her hilarious videos. The 23-year-old has inherited her mum's fun sense of humour, which she has shown off in several light-hearted skits featuring Catherine.

Despite being a star on majorly popular shows like Doctor Who, Catherine has kept her daughter out of the spotlight growing up. The mother and daughter duo jokingly tried to order the bill at a restaurant in one clip Erin posted to her public account in 2023, which has garnered one millions views and over a thousand comments.
Catherine stayed in character as she tried to get the attention of a waiter by mouthing and gesturing to sign the bill while her daughter chuckled in the background. Erin then followed her mum's lead with the same hilarious attempt before breaking character and erupting in laughter.
Erin recruited her blended family for another comedy video from a night out at dinner. Catherine and her partner, American screenwriter Jeff Gutheim, to whom she got engaged in 2019, hilariously helped recreate a well-known scene from the 2004 comedy film White Chicks. The couple played along in a video filmed from the point of view of Erin and one of Jeff's daughters ordering dinner when their parents were paying.
The comments section was filled with fans surprised to see Catherine's daughter pop up on their For You Page on the app. "Your mom is literally one of the coolest people on earth," one fan wrote. "Imagine having THE Catherine Tate as your mum. My favourite Doctor Who companion of all time," another said. Erin's other videos include clips of her on holiday and spending time with friends.

Erin is a mini-me of her famous mum with the same long locks of hair with a reddish hue. "The way I was about to say 'she looks like Catherine Tate'," one person pointed out the resemblance between the pair in the comments on Erin's TikTok video with her mum in 2023.
Erin hilariously revealed her famous family connection in a since-viral clip from the races last year. The 23-year-old was stopped asked on video to share the most famous person in her contacts, to which she revealed her mum was none other than Catherine. Erin called her mum over FaceTime on camera and told her: "Alright, thanks for showing up, Mum. Love you."
