Henry Winkler is synonymous with Hollywood. The 80-year-old comedian has been acting for more than half of his life, starring in iconic shows like Happy Days and Arrested Development.
In his eighth decade, Henry is still succeeding on screen with his new show, Hazardous History with Henry Winkler, where the actor journeys through America's past, revealing shocking everyday activities and products – from hazardous toys to dangerous household items.
But, Henry's life would be nothing without his longtime wife, Stacey, and two children, Zoe and Max, who is following in his dad's footsteps.

In 1976, Henry met the then Stacey Furstman at Jerry Magnin's clothing store in Beverly Hills. She was working in PR at the time and repping the store, and Henry was starring on Happy Days.
"She was wearing purple parachute pants and she had red hair and without her even saying a word, I thought, 'Woah, beautiful woman standing in front of me,'" Henry told People.
While sparks didn't initially fly for Stacey, the actor returned to the store a week later and ran into her again. "I came back to the store the next week and she was there," he explained. "And within 10 minutes, I learned how strong she is."

Two years later, in 1978, Stacey and Henry tied the knot in an intimate wedding in New York City. Henry's career was really taking off at the time, something that overwhelmed Stacey.
"People would rush up to Henry and literally walk over my feet," she told People. "One time I said, 'You've just completely ruined my stockings.' And this woman said, 'But I love Fonzie!'"

Stacey already had a son when she met the Fonz. Henry met her son Jed on their first date. During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, the actor recalled meeting him, saying: "When I picked up Stacey for her and my first date, the door opened and there's a little 4-year-old, and he said, 'Hi, Fonz!'"
While Jed doesn't share Henry's last name – he goes by Jed Weitzman – he and Henry are close. When he was in third grade, Jed and his step-dad, who was 31, were both diagnosed with dyslexia.
"In third grade he had to write a report and couldn't do it," Henry told People in 2023. "I said to him everything that was said to me: 'Go back to your room. You're being lazy. Live up to your potential. You're so verbal.' I then had him tested and we read everything they said. I went, 'Oh my God, Stacey, this is me. I have something with a name.'"

In 1980, Henry and Stacey welcomed their first child, Zoe, together. Zoe chose not to enter Hollywood, but instead to focus her career on helping people. After graduating from college, she worked as a grade school teacher where she met her husband Rob Reinis, an actor and writer starring in NYPD Blue.
In 2018, Zoe co-founded a nonprofit, This is About Humanity, which helps families and children who were separated at the United States-Mexico border. Zoe also worked on a podcast with her mom called What In The Winkler?! where the two discussed life with their very famous family member.
Outside of her career, Zoe and Rob are parents to three sons – Ace, Jules, and Gus.

Two years after Zoe was born, Henry and Stacey welcomed their son Max who has followed in his dad's footsteps. But, unlike Henry, Max enjoys work behind the camera and has directed several episodes of hit series like New Girl, American Horror Story, and American Horror Stories.
Max has even helped his dad out get big roles. When Henry auditioned for Barry, Max "directed" him. "I had the script, I said 'Max, will you take a look at it?'" Henry said during a 2023 appearance on The Talk. "I'm sitting at my desk, he's standing over me, I'm reading it, and he says 'Dad ... respect the writer!'"
In 2019, Max met his future wife while directing Jungleland, which starred Charlie Hunnam and Jessica Barden. Max and Jessica tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed their first child that same year.
