Russell Crowe and his longtime girlfriend Britney Theriot looked more loved-up than ever as they stepped out together at the French Open in Paris on Sunday.
The Gladiator star, 61, was photographed sharing affectionate moments with Britney, 42, as the couple enjoyed the action from the stands at Roland-Garros. In one candid snap, Russell leaned in to kiss his partner as she smiled beneath oversized sunglasses and a slick red lip, while another showed the pair clasping hands during an intimate courtside moment.
Dressed sharply for the outing, Russell wore a navy suit layered over a grey waistcoat and pale blue tie, while Britney opted for an oversized black blazer with gold crest detailing worn over a crisp white shirt. She completed the polished look with reflective sunglasses, a low ponytail and understated jewellery.
The couple appeared completely at ease in each other’s company, laughing together and chatting animatedly throughout the tournament, with Russell even spotted holding a tennis ball as they mingled with fellow guests.
Their public appearance comes shortly after Russell addressed ongoing speculation surrounding their relationship and persistent confusion about their age gap.
Taking to X earlier this year, the Oscar winner clarified that Britney is not decades younger than him, despite repeated online rumours suggesting otherwise.
“I have clarified this on many occasions, but some people prefer the fiction,” he wrote. “It is so ungentlemanly to do this. However, my lovely Britney is 42 years of age. I am 61.”
Russell and Britney reportedly first met on the set of Broken City in 2013 while she was still acting, though the pair were not romantically linked until 2020 after Britney stepped away from Hollywood to pursue a career in real estate.
The couple made their red carpet debut together in 2022 and have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight ever since.
Engagement rumours swirled last year when Britney was photographed wearing a sparkling diamond ring at Wimbledon, but Russell later shut down speculation that wedding bells were on the horizon.
Speaking candidly during an interview on 60 Minutes, the actor explained why he has no plans to marry again following his divorce from former wife Danielle Spencer.
“All these reports coming out that Britney and I are engaged and I'm going to get married again? No,” he said.
“My life is joyous and happy, why ruin that with a wedding? I'm not gonna get married again. Doing it once is cool, but I don't want to get married again.”
He added: “We respect each other and wake up with a smile, and we are very happy.”
Russell shares sons Charles and Tennyson with Danielle, whom he separated from in 2012 before finalising their divorce in 2018. Despite the split, the pair have remained close friends over the years.
“We have a lot of respect for each other, and I consider him to be a member of my family,” Danielle previously told Stellar. “The marriage ended, but that didn't mean our friendship ended.”
The actor has also recently spoken openly about his impressive health transformation after gaining weight for his role in Nuremberg in 2024.
Appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Russell revealed he had lost more than 55 pounds after cutting back on alcohol and committing to more regular exercise.
“As you get older, there are certain things you start to learn about your capacities,” he explained, adding that treatment for lingering knee and shoulder injuries had also helped him return to working out consistently without pain.
