Former child star McKenna Grace turned heads at the 2026 Academy Awards, appearing almost unrecognizable as she stepped onto the red carpet in a breathtaking fairytale-inspired gown.

The 19-year-old actress looked every inch the Hollywood star as she arrived at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles wearing a dramatic blush-pink ballgown complete with a sweeping train and sculpted bodice.

The elegant dress featured delicate straps, a fitted waist and voluminous skirt that flowed across the red carpet, creating a striking princess-like silhouette that immediately caught the attention of photographers.

McKenna completed the look with sparkling diamond jewellery, including a statement necklace and matching earrings, while her blonde hair was styled in a soft updo with face-framing bangs.

Her makeup was kept fresh and romantic, with rosy cheeks and soft pink tones that perfectly complemented the pastel gown.

The young actress posed confidently for photographers, showcasing the gown’s dramatic train as it trailed behind her across the carpet.

At one point she turned to reveal the full sweep of the dress, highlighting its structured layers and elegant tailoring.

The romantic look marked a significant fashion moment for the star, who first rose to fame as a child actor and has grown up in the public eye.

Fans were quick to comment online that the actress looked almost unrecognizable from her early roles, with many praising the sophisticated transformation.

McKenna began her career as a young actress in Hollywood and quickly became known for her standout performances in film and television.

She earned widespread recognition for roles in projects including Gifted, where she starred opposite Chris Evans, as well as appearances in Captain Marvel, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Over the years she has steadily transitioned from child star to young leading actress, taking on more mature roles while continuing to build an impressive résumé.

If that weren't enough, the precocious teen is also a rising pop star with millions of streams on Spotify and an EP under her belt, Bittersweet 16, released this March.

It's the start of a new era, though, as she prepares to drop a debut album next year and offers a first taste with lead single 'Casual Kisser', a dedication to the lovestruck who can't seem to find someone else who can take their romantic ambitions seriously enough.

"The song is very true and honest to me," she says in an exclusive conversation with Best Quality Designer Handbag . "I'm the kind of person [for whom] dating and kissing is a big deal. If I'm with someone or I'm going to kiss someone, I want it to be special. And I'm honest about that.

"For me, it's about being love bombed into trusting someone and going out of your comfort zone with them, only for them to have not actually been that serious about you. It's funny because I act for a living, but it always surprises me that someone can look at you and just not be honest."
