Pamela Anderson took to Instagram over the weekend to share her makeup routine with fans and rate her products from her Sonsie skincare line, alongside her eldest son, Brandon.
In the video, which was shared on the brand's Instagram feed, the Hollywood actress sat next to her son, whom she shares with her ex-husband, rocker Tommy Lee, wearing a simple, relaxed outfit of a cotton T-shirt, a casual skirt, and oversized, knee-high flat boots in a light beige tone.
Her famous blonde hair, which was recently cut into a shaggy bob, was pushed back, and her ever-youthful face was free from makeup.
Later, she posted another video of herself demonstrating her springtime skin routine, which included an array of her products and a slick of lip balm, allowing her natural skin to shine through.
This led to an abundance of comments from fans. One follower penned: "Your skin looks fabulous!" Another added: "Queen!" and a third quipped: "Just so effortlessly feminine."
Pamela's makeup journey
After spending much of the '90s sporting dark eyeshadow, frosted pink lipstick, fake eyelashes, and overlined lips, Pamela shocked the world in 2023 when she arrived at Paris Fashion Week sporting very little makeup. At the Isabel Marant and Vivienne Westwood shows that year, all that could be seen on her face was a flick of mascara and a simple slick of natural gloss, a remarkable contrast from the famously vampy look she was famous for.
This coincided with her Netflix documentary, Pamela - A Love Story. Fans loved seeing her on screen completely unfiltered and natural. Her z-free face revealed her freckles and pores.
Baywatch superstar Pamela went on to launch her vegan and cruelty-free brand in 2024, and the ethos was clear from the start - "simplified ingredient lists and straightforward formulas". A must-have for clean beauty fans; there are no sulfates, phthalates, parabens, or silicone in any of the products.
Pamela's natural pact
Over the past three years, Pamela has bravely graced the red carpet without so much as a scrap of makeup on. "To me, true beauty is about celebrating authenticity. I want to look like myself, feel like myself, and that means taking care of myself on my terms," she explained on the Sonsie website.
She refreshingly added: "I believe our differences are what make us beautiful and interesting to one another... The goal is to realise our own purpose on earth... and it starts with believing in ourselves... to have courage... to be what no one else is... and finding strength in that. It goes beyond healthy skin," she mused.
