Meghan Markle looked beyond beautiful on Thursday, 19 March, as she attended an event for the Alliance for Children's Rights. The A-list fundraiser was held in Beverly Hills, and the Duchess posed up a storm on the red carpet, alongside her close friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen.
It was wonderful to see the royal don a classic navy dress for the occasion, and Meghan's strapless design was by Ralph Lauren. A longtime fan of the brand, the mother-of-two chose the 'Shelly Silk Cady Evening Dress', which has a price tag of £3,300 and has since sold out.
The dazzling design houses a clever component. The column silhouette features an interior bustier, which streamlines the body, creating a supported shape. Wearing items that have built-in support like this nails shapewear and tailored finishes in one simple swipe.
Accessorising to perfection, Meghan wore a pair of vintage gold Chanel earrings, a stack of gold Cartier bracelets, her signature Cartier watch, and a pair of strappy heels. Nodding to her laid-back, Californian beauty ethos, Meghan wore her hair in a low bun, with loose tendrils framing her face.
Meghan's designer jewels
Meghan adores gold pieces when it comes to her jewellery preference, and her Chanel earrings are a standout choice for the royal. They offer a balance between understated and striking; large enough to make a statement that says 'elegant glamour', but they're unfussy, uncomplicated and versatile.
She first wore them in 2024 to watch Prince Harry play polo in Florida. At an event held to raise money for his charity Sentebale, Meghan oozed sophistication in an ivory silk dress by Heidi Merrick, which she elevated with nude court heels from Aquazzura, a white and gold Valentino crossbody bag, gold jewellery, her Cartier Tank Française watch again, and oversized black shades, also by Heidi Merrick.
Meghan is rarely seen without her Cartier 'Love' bracelet, which she often stacks with other bangles. Made in 18k yellow gold, the pretty bangle famously comes with its own mini screwdriver to fix it permanently on the wrist.
The timeless piece is synonymous with Cartier's legacy after it was conceptualised by legendary jewellery designer Aldo Cipullo in 1969. The classic bracelet is locked with screw details that suggest the wearer is 'locked' into love.
