The Princess of Wales wowed onlookers earlier this week as she and her husband, Prince William, paid a visit to IntoUniversity, an education charity that benefited from their royal wedding gift fund.
Kate's polished, office-style attire was a resplendent mix of stylish brands. The mother-of-three wore a tailored pair of trousers by Edeline Lee, a sleeveless top by ME+EM, and her trusted Ralph Lauren heels.
She finished the look with an instant scene-stealer - a new blazer by Erdem, identified by the Instagram account MiddletonMaven. The sky-blue, tailored jacket expertly pepped up her otherwise tonal look.
Kate's blazer is known as the 'Embellished Crepe Single-Breasted Fitted Blazer' and has a price tag of £2,595. As you can see, it comes complete with three crystal-encrusted floral brooch embellishments, which were "inspired by 18th-century botanical illustrations," according to the website. It appears that the royal has removed this finery and has instead let the wide lapels and sleek tailoring carry the look.
The subtle removal quickly revamps the ensemble, leaving a more classic finish.
The dazzling jacket is designed in the brand's 'Porcelain Blue' colourway. It's tailored from wool crepe and has peak lapels, a single-button closure, and angled flap pockets.
Pastel blue is a springtime must-have, and there's an array of similar designs on the high street right now that emulate Kate's designer piece.
Mango's slightly oversized blazer would look incredible with barrel jeans or tapered trousers, and Karen Millen's sleek satin alternative would be a great choice for a party or formal function.
Kate's pastel makeover
For the past month, the Princess has gravitated towards pastel tones for public outings. On 22 April, Kate looked pristine as she stepped out at Buckingham Palace to attend a reception on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth. The 44-year-old delighted in a pastel purple, a colour that she rarely wears.
Kate's fresh lilac dress was a bespoke creation by Emilia Wickstead, which featured a gathered bodice, midi-length flared skirt and three-quarter sleeves. It lightened her complexion and gave her a youthful glow.
And on Easter Sunday, the royal stole the show at St. George's Chapel alongside her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, for the Easter Matins service, in her belted Self-Portrait dress, which was crafted in a sumptuous vanilla shade. The brunette royal carried one of her favourite 'mini' bags, the 'Nano Montreal' by DeMellier.
