Princess Kate levels up her golden Roland Mouret suit with a sweet nod to royal children
The brunette royal looked stunning in the high-end fashion label as she attended the University of East London to mark the latest stage of her work on early years care.
Kate wore a golden, almost buttery-toned trouser-suit by Roland Mouret. The elegant, tailored two-piece is a signature look for the wife of the Prince of Wales, who often turns to sharp suiting for formal daytime engagements. You can be sure that when it comes to a formal, daytime event, the mother-of-three will often pull out her fashion secret weapon - the mighty blazer.
Kate teamed the suit with her Danielle Draper necklace
The royal also added her favourite initial necklace by Danielle Draper. The brand's 'Gold Fixed Alphabet' necklace features G, C, and L charms for her children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Kate's Roland Mouret suit featured a single-breasted jacket and a pair of longer-length, high-waisted, wide-leg trousers; a refreshing change from her usual choice of the timeless Cigarette shape.

Kate famously wore this Roland Mouret dress in 2022
The Princess is a huge fan of Roland's attire and famously wore the brand in 2022. Then known as the Duchess of Cambridge, she headed to the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick and wore the brand's 'Lamble Off-The-Shoulder Gown' - a masterclass in pulling off monochrome.
British-based French fashion designer Roland Mouret founded his namesake brand in 2005, which was best known initially for creating the 'Galaxy' dress, which was loved by a plethora of A-listers, including Victoria Beckham. After some financial issues due to COVID, the brand was rescued in 2021 when Roland Mouret was acquired by Self-Portrait founder Han Chong.
Kate's sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, and Roland have known each other for many years, even enjoying lunch dates together before she met Prince Harry, which she documented on her old Instagram account for her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig.
At one point, Roland was rumoured to be the one to design her wedding dress. Meghan previously spoke about her relationship with him. "This man in a bathrobe said, 'I love to dress you,'" she said. "I thought, 'Whaaat?' Then he told me who he was and we've been friends ever since," she remarked to Fashion Magazine in 2016. Equally, Roland has a lot of time for Meghan, too. He remarked to the New York Post: "Meghan knows really well what she likes and the main thing with Meghan is to listen to her and work in collaboration with her," he revealed in 2018.
