The 2026 TV BAFTA nominations have been released, and Netflix's global hit, Adolescence, leads the way with 11 nominations. The breakout hit threw toxic masculinity and incel culture into the spotlight, and the show was even highlighted by leading politicians.

It leads a packed field filled with major hits from the past year, including Disney+'s A Thousand Blows and the BBC's The Celebrity Traitors, a spin-off of its highly successful thriller, The Traitors.

In the acting categories, the likes of Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, Erin Doherty and Aimee Lou Wood have all been given nods, with Erin nominated for her roles in Adolescence and A Thousand Blows, a feat matched by Aimee, who has nominations for Film Club and The White Lotus.

The ceremony will be hosted by comedian Greg Davies, who was previously nominated for a TV BAFTA in 2013, on 10 May at the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall.

Meanwhile, the Memorable Moment Award offers the public the chance to vote for the most iconic television moment from the past year. These moments are when Jamie snapped at his psychiatrist in Adolescence, the "I didn't make it, did I?" line  from Big Boys, when the police are warned of an ambush plot in Blue Lights, Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade's speed date in Last One Laughing, Alan Carr winning The Celebrity Traitors and Byron introducing herself as Paris for the first time in What It Feels Like for a Girl.
