Last year's Celebrity Traitors had an incredible cast, including the likes of Sir Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross, Tom Daley and Celia Imrie. However, it sounds like the second season might just top it!

On Wednesday evening, the show's presenter, Claudia Winkleman, made an appearance on The One Show, and while she didn't reveal who was in the cast, she did tease some "extraordinary" names.

When asked by Vernon Kay whether there were any "big dogs" in the cast, Claudia responded: "There certainly are, the people who make it are extraordinary, and they had to repeat the people twice to me, because I was like, 'Huh? Are you joking? Come again'. So, we're incredibly lucky."

She added: "We're so grateful that people want to come and play the game. And the people who said yes to series one, I still can't believe it. I was shaking when I saw Stephen Fry walking around the castle, and Alan Carr and Ruth Codd, all of these people who I was obsessed with."

Celebrity Traitors season 1

The first season of The Celebrity Traitors, which serves as a spin-off from The Traitors, aired last autumn, and it was the biggest hit of the year, drawing in an impressive 15 million viewers over seven days.

The nine-part series concluded with Traitor Alan Carr betraying Faithful players Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga, allowing him to take home £87,500 for his chosen charity, Neuroblastoma UK.

Beginning with 19 celebrities, the series saw host Claudia Winkleman pick Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns to join Alan as Traitors, while other Faithfuls included Tom Daley, Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie, Niko Omilana, Joe Marler, Charlotte Church, Clare Balding, David Olusoga, Joe Wilkinson, Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont, Mark Bonnar, Nick Mohammed, Paloma Faith, Ruth Codd and Tameka Empson.

The last series of the civilian version introduced a shock twist with a 'Secret Traitor' whose identity was unknown to everyone in the game, including the other Traitors.

Stephen and Rachel won the fourth season

The final episode of the fourth season saw Traitors Rachel Duffy and Stephen Libby manage to win the grand prize of £95,750 after managing to turn the remaining Faithfuls against one another. Their win marked the first time in the British game where two Traitors walked away with the final jackpot.sy
