Calling all Wednesday fans! Netflixhas announced that some fresh blood is coming to Nevermore Academy, including a classic 1980s star who featured in St. Elmo's Fire (1985), Pretty in Pink (1986) and Weekend at Bernie's (1989).
Wednesday is Netflix's most popular show of all time and stars Jenna Ortega (Scream) as the titular character, Wednesday Addams.
As the third season approaches, the streamer has announced that Andrew McCarthy (St. Elmo's Fire, Weekend at Bernie's), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones, The Abandons) and James Lance (Ted Lasso) will be joining as guest stars, alongside the likes of Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Stranger Things) and Chris Sarandon (Dog Day Afternoon, The Princess Bride).
While details of their characters remain under wraps, showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar have shared: "This season, we welcome new students, new teachers, and excavate some long-rotting Addams Family secrets. Don't say you weren't warned."

What is Wednesday season 3 about?
Picking up in its third chapter, the new season continues to explore Wednesday's "misadventures", promising to push her further than ever before.
While an official synopsis has yet to be released, Al Gough teased that the goal for season three is "to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can". He continued: "We want to continue digging deeper into our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday."
Meanwhile, Miles Millar added: "We will be seeing more Addams family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!"
Who stars in Wednesday season 3?
Alongside the three new guest stars, other newcomers include Noah Taylor (Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones), Oscar Morgan (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Gotham Knights) and Kennedy Moyer (Task, Roofman).
Meanwhile, Jenna Ortega reprises her role as Wednesday Addams, while Emma Myers plays Enid Sinclair and Hunter Doohan is Tyler Galpin.
They're joined by Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger, Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams and Billie Piper as Isadora Capri.
Other names include Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Evie Templeton as Agnes DeMille, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.
What has the director said about Wednesday season 3?
Executive producer and director Tim Burton, who said, "I'm so excited to be back for Season 3, and it's great to be reunited with all of the original cast. The addition of some dear friends and past collaborators of mine – Winona, Eva, Chris, and Noah – makes this season extra special. I feel very lucky."
