Long before Julia Roberts became Hollywood’s ultimate rom-com queen, she appeared alongside her older brother Eric Roberts in the 1988 drama Blood Red.
Eric was already an established star at the time, while Julia was just beginning her rise to fame. Their on-screen dynamic offered an early glimpse at the personality that would soon make Julia one of the biggest actresses in the world.
Today, they remain one of Hollywood’s most famous acting families, with the siblings' niece Emma Roberts also following in their footsteps.

They starred in Sixteen Candles in 1984, Say Anything in 1989, and Broadcast News in 1987 as a sibling duo.

As the sons of Hollywood legend Martin Sheen, Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen were already industry royalty by the time the 1980s began.
The brothers shared the screen in several films during the decade, bringing very different acting styles that somehow worked perfectly together.
Emilio became closely linked to the Brat Pack era, while Charlie quickly emerged as one of Hollywood’s most recognisable young stars. They were both in the 1988 film Young Guns and the 1990 film Men at Work.
They have different last names because Emilio chose to keep the family's original Spanish surname, while Charlie decided to adopt their father's stage name.
