Few celebrities have managed to maintain beauty icon status quite like Victoria Beckham. The 51-year-old rose to prominence as a baby-faced singer in the Nineties as part of the Spice Girls – and now three decades later, her skincare secrets are still the subject of much intrigue. One brand that she turns to time and again? Dr. Barbara Sturm – in particular, the brand’s Molecular Cosmetics line.
- Dr. Barbara Sturm has launched a new Peptide Serum
- The formula is part of its coveted Molecular Cosmetics range, loved by Victoria Beckham
- I tested it for a week and noticed my skin felt more supple, bouncier and hydrated
Victoria has long been a vocal advocate for Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Molecular Cosmetics line. Notably, she visited the brand’s flagship clinic in Germany to have her own blood drawn to create a personalised moisturiser. She’s also raved about the Glow Drops, Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Enzyme Cleanser from the skin-healing molecular range on her personal Instagram profile.
Now, Dr. Barbara Sturm has expanded the range with a new anti-ageing innovation: The Peptide Serum. Clinically proven to preserve up to 90% of elastin and 63% of collagen, the next-generation formula helps defend these structural skin proteins while supporting the natural production of them. The result is firmer, smoother and more resilient skin, with fine lines and wrinkles visibly reduced.
Founder of the eponymous label, Dr. Barbara Sturm, says: “As a doctor and longevity expert, I’ve always emphasised the power of prevention – supporting the skin before visible signs of aging appear. I created The Peptide Serum to help preserve collagen and elastin reserves, while encouraging their renewed synthesis. With biomimetic peptides to boost elasticity and resilience, it leaves skin firm, strong and supple over time.“
As part of a daily preventative and restorative skincare approach, new serum reinforces the skin’s architecture, supports long-term resilience and visibly slows skin ageing, which ensures youthful-looking skin long-term. How does it do this, I hear you ask? Its next-generation complex of biotech peptides works as signalling molecules on the skin’s surface, stimulating collagen and elastin production in the deeper layers.
My review of Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Peptide Serum
The Peptide Serum is a great option for anyone looking to dip their toe into the world of anti-ageing skincare – exactly where I was when I first picked it up. At first, I was sceptical about the texture. It’s much thicker and creamier than I expected from a serum, and I was expecting it to be runnier. But I quickly realised the formula is incredibly pliable; in simple terms, a little goes a long way.
I’m currently dealing with a bout of skin sensitivity, so the gentle formula was especially welcome. Unlike many anti-ageing serums packed with intense active ingredients, this one made a noticeable difference without relying on anything harsh or potentially irritating. Even better, it works quickly: within just a week, my skin looked and felt smoother than it has in years. My face felt more supple, hydrated and bouncy, and the fine lines around my eyes were visibly softened.
