The Princess of Wales attended the historic Enthronement Ceremony, installing Dame Sarah Mullally as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury on 25 March, and debuted a new hairstyle for the event.
Kate, 44, was seen arriving at Canterbury Cathedral to witness Dame Sarah Mullally become the first female Archbishop of Canterbury, wearing her hair in a twisted side bun with volume at the root.

"Kate's croissant-style bun is a great example of considered, thoughtful styling," the hairstylist tells us. "Worn to the side, it balances beautifully with her hat, which is angled in the opposite direction, a small detail that allows the bun to really be seen. It's a subtle but effective way of making sure the whole look feels cohesive."

Suzie explains: "It's softly structured, with gentle twists that create the 'croissant' shape. It feels classic and polished, without being too structured or overworked, very much in keeping with Kate's usual approach to hair. It's an elegant, versatile style that can work for different occasions."
Kate's latest style choice
Kate's twisted side bun not only complemented her hat but also the neckline of her outfit, which would have been a consideration for her hairstylist. The royal donned a new Suzannah London coat featuring a collared neckline and crossover front.
