Princess Eugenie's youngest son Ernest turns three this Saturday and we imagine she has a fun day lined up with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their son August, five.
The royal couple married in October 2018 in a beautiful wedding at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, and they welcomed their first child in 2021, followed by their second son Ernest in 2023. The family split their time between Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace and their sunny residence in Portugal.
The family is shortly set to get even bigger this summer following the announcement that Princess Eugenie is expecting her third child. Buckingham Palace announced the joyful news in a statement, reading: "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer. August (aged five) and Ernest (aged two) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family. His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news."
Eugenie, 35, often shares photos of her children on her Instagram page, which is unusual for a member of the royal family - a testament to Sarah Ferguson's daughter's down-to-earth nature.

August's birthday
Princess Eugenie shared this adorable photo of her two sons hugging her tightly.
She wrote: "Happy Birthday to our dearest Augie. Forever a force of nature and forever giggling with you."

Back in June 2002, little August enjoyed watching the RAF fly-past at Buckingham Palace which paid tribute to his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
Eugenie wrote: "The most perfect day to celebrate 70 years."

Princess Eugenie shared the personal snap on Instagram and wrote: "Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs.

Eugenie and Jack introduced their firstborn in February 2021 with this beautiful family photo.

Princess Eugenie shared the happy news that baby number three was on the way with this adorable photograph of her sons looking at the scan. "Baby Brooksbank due 2026!," she penned alongside heart emojis.
The baby will be 15th in line to the throne, moving Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, down to 16th place. Despite its place in the royal running, the baby will not be an HRH.

To mark her son Ernest's first birthday, Eugenie shared this precious photograph of the little boy wearing a football jersey emblazoned with his name.

This precious image of Jack hugging his sons was taken outside of Ivy Cottage, the couple's UK residence. Her chocolate-box cottage is the epitome of charming, with a white picket fence, climbing roses, and twee Georgian windows.
The property has three bedrooms, but they may be beginning to grow out of the low-key residence following the news of Eugenie's pregnancy.

This gorgeous photo from the summer of 2024 showed Eugenie en route to the beach, carrying her sons on each arm. Eugenie and Jack spend a good chunk of the year in Penheirinho Comporta, Portugal, where they live alongside a slew of famous residents, including Christian Louboutin.
According to the complex's website: "Pinheirinho is the place where landscape and lifestyle blend in peace, from the golden coastline to the towering pines", allowing access to open water and greenery that the nature-loving Princess Eugenie certainly appreciates.
The coastal community also invites its residents to "relax into the rhythm of nature, reconnect with those you love, seek adventure and lose yourself in that dreamy space between sun and shadow".
