Dylan Dreyer got candid about the uncertain era that she's currently in.

The Today star launched her podcast The Parent Chat with Dylan Dreyer on April 2, and she transparently shared her thoughts on her future during her first episode with Ashley Graham.

Dylan admitted that she "wishes" she started having kids when she "was younger" because her initial dream was to have "a group of kids," because she "loves being a mom."

The correspondent explained that she had her last child at the age of 40 but she misses that excitement that came with bearing children.

Dylan's confession

Dylan expressed that she had a therapist session during which she confessed: "I feel like I'm at a point right now where I don't know what the next thing is – the next thing to get excited about."

Her therapist advised: "Think of all the things you prayed for and the things you wanted and you're in that right now."

Dylan emphasized: "Sometimes it's just important to step back and appreciate all the prayers that were answered before you're thinking, 'what's next, what's next?'"

Ashley confirmed: "It's a great life lesson." The model explained that her "mom always reminds" her to "be happy with what you have."

The model recalled what her mom told her, stating: "You're a hustler and you will always be a hustler but at the end of the day, you can be a settled hustler and just know that your next move doesn't have to be right now. It can be coming. I know – moms are wise," as Dylan confirmed: "They are."

Ashley added: "I'm just hoping I'll be like that for my boys." Dylan consoled her, saying: "You will. I'm sure that you already are."

Her next era

In January Dylan exclusively spoke with HELLO! while competing during the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, and expressed that she's keeping all her options open when it comes to dating in the future.

She revealed: "I would say I'm open to it. I don't know how to do it... it's been a long time and my focus is on the kids and the family. So if something were to happen organically and it's easy, you know... but I'm not searching for it. If something happens, I'm open to it."

Past relationship

The TV host announced online in June 2025 that she's separating from her husband Brian Fichera and she officially filed for divorce in March 2025.

The pair were married for 12 years, and they are continuing to co-parent their three children named Calvin, nine, Oliver, six, and Rusty, five.

She wrote online: "We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends. Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another. Thank you as always for your support." The duo met while they worked at a Boston news station.
