King of the Jungle in 2018, Harry Redknapp is back on our screens for I’m a Celebrity South Africa 2026, featuring all stars from previous years. He left his life of luxury to battle it out with other legends like Scarlett Moffatt and Sinitta, but away from the South African bush, he has the most incredible place to call home…
The former football manager is synonymous with the celebrity hotspot Sandbanks on the UK coast. He’s previously owned two different homes there with wife, Sandra, and now he’s built his very own Italian-inspired villa with the most breathtaking views.
It has been reported that the couple parted ways with £7 million for a house in the Millionaire's Row area of Dorset and then proceeded to knock it down to build their dream property – an "Italianate villa" that looks like it belongs in Lake Como.
The new abode boasts five bedrooms, each with en-suites, its own private gym, a study and a boot room. One particularly impressive feature is the boat house with a jetty, which has direct access to Poole Harbour. It is reportedly worth £12 million now the renovations are complete.
Neighbourhood fallout
Harry’s spectacular project hasn’t come without issues though, as neighbours originally complained about the build. The Sandbanks Neighbourhood Forum objected to the villa as the group claimed it would have a "detrimental effect" on the area.
Neighbour Alison Wheeler told the Daily Echo that she believed the new villa would be too "overpowering" and "oppressive", and feared it would impact their privacy.
Harry’s architect was forced to revise the plans slightly before they were eventually granted and work began.
Crash incident
In July 2025, Harry came up against trouble of a different kind when a £25,000, 50ft trimaran was blown off course due to winds and crashed into their private jetty. Luckily, Harry's residence was unscathed in the incident.
Harry and Sandra's former homes
Before their Italian mansion, the pair had two Sandbanks residences to call home. When they first moved to the exclusive hotspot, they owned a mock-Tudor mansion for 12 years, and then, after selling it for £6.9 million, they lived in a modern beach house. They gave up that property for privacy reasons as the exposed nature of the design left fans looking in.
