Sharon Osbourne has put the home she shared with her late husband Ozzy Osbourne up for sale for $17 million eight months after the rockstar died following a heart attack and years of health battles.
The 73-year-old lived on the Los Angeles estate with her husband, who was 76 when he died, for more than a decade, after the famous couple purchased the 1920s-style home in 2015.
They originally spent $11.85 million on the property. They previously tested the market in 2022, listing it for $18 million before dropping it down to $17.5 million while contemplating a permanent move back to the UK.
After reconsidering, they removed the home from the market, according to a report by Carolwood Estates, and instead decided to stay put at the Hancock Park address, five miles from downtown LA.
The lavish 10,200 square-foot estate featured a curved staircase, large chandelier, ornate ceilings and an accompanying guesthouse in the grounds, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The Osbournes' home cinema at the property featured a collection of signatures from celebrity friends who visited them at the house, including an autograph from Elvis Presley, who left his mark on the fireplace when the house was previously owned by radio actor Frank Bresee.
It was reported that Sharon was looking to downsize after her husband's death in July last year and that removal vans were spotted outside the address.
Replica Luxury Handbag away from home
While Sharon currently splits her time between her LA address and Grade-II listed Georgian mansion, Welders House in Buckinghamshire, members of her family have spoken fondly about their time growing up in America.
Her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, 41, reflected on her time living in the US city and shared details about why she was interested in buying back the family's first property they lived in when they filmed their MTV reality show, The Osbournes.
During a chat with Omaze for their Replica Luxury Handbags That Made Me series, the mum-of-one said: "This was the house we filmed The Osbournes in. We've asked about ten times if we can buy it back, and they keep saying no, even though they're never even there, the people who currently own it. But it was a great house."
Kelly continued sharing her love for the home in the caption of the Instagram post: "That house will always be one of the best places we ever lived, because that house changed my life."
The famous family first moved into the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom gated 513 Doheny Road mansion in March 2002 and lived there until 2007, when the property was sold to pop star Christina Aguilera, who stayed in the home for four years.
