Andrew Mountabatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was arrested last week on his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Despite being released under investigation, it has cast a greater spotlight than ever before on his personal life behind palace doors.
That includes the 10-year marriage of the late Queen Elizabeth's favourite son to Sarah Ferguson, the 66-year-old former Duchess of York, who has also been caught up in the Epstein scandal. The parents of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who have been divorced since 1996 but have been on good terms, both recently lost their titles and were forced to move out of Royal Lodge.
While Sarah is Andrew's most prominent ex, he has been romantically linked to a number of other women over the years. Here are some of his most notable relationships - and where they are now…
Koo Stark
Well before Andrew started dating Sarah, he was linked to Koo Stark, an American photographer and actress. The pair crossed paths in 1981 at his 21st birthday party, prior to him serving in the Falklands War.
The journalist and ex-Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown has previously described her as Andrew's "only serious love interest". However, the couple - who holidayed to Mustique in 1982 - had split by the following year due to pressure from his mother the Queen, who is understood to have felt she wasn't a suitable royal bride. Not least due to a racy scene in 1976 film The Awakening of Emily that she appeared in.
Koo, now 69, lives in London and is mother to 29-year-old daughter Tatiana from her short-lived relationship to banker Warren Walker. In September, it was reported by Sky News that she is planning to launch a wellness company - modelled off Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop - selling 'spiritual' sex toys.
Catherine Rabett
Following his break-up with Koo, the then-Prince was linked to Catherine Rabett. The actress is believed to have met the royal at a London art gallery in 1983, and she is reported to have thrown him a 24th birthday party at her parents' home in Ealing the following year.
Her string of film, TV and theatre work notably includes her role as a Bond Girl, when she starred in the 1987 film The Living Daylights. By this point, it is thought her brief romance with Andrew was well and truly over.
Catherine went on to marry Kit Hesketh-Harvey, a composer, screenwriter and performer, in 1986, and the couple had two children together, Augusta and Rollo. However, they divorced in 2021 and her ex-husband suddenly passed away aged 65 in 2023. She is now 65 and an art historian living in Norfolk.
Lady Victoria Hervey
After Andrew's split from Sarah in 1996, one of the women he was first linked to was Lady Victoria Hervey three years later. She is the eldest child of the 6th Marquess of Bristol and his third wife, Yvonne Marie Sutton, and was born on her father's 61st birthday.
Victoria, who was 16 years Andrew's junior, confirmed on Good Morning Britain in 2019 that they had briefly dated in 1999. However, their romance fizzled out and she went on to pursue a modelling and acting career in Los Angeles before returning to the UK.
In recent years, Victoria, now 49, has appeared on TV shows including ITV's original version of Love Island and Channel 4's The Jump. She has recently courted controversy for comments made as a talking head regarding the Epstein files and also her support for far-right politics.
Emma Gibbs
It is reported that Emma Gibbs was introduced to Andrew by his friend Ghislaine Maxwell in 2000. According to the Daily Mail, the Australian PR was known to have been his girlfriend for a period of time.
Now known as Emma Farah, after her marriage to Marc Farah in 2011, she is Head of Events at Claridge's Flowers. In an Instagram post shared by the brand last year, they described her as having "decades of experience creating extraordinary celebrations across the UK and beyond".
It is believed that Emma has remained on good terms with Andrew's daughters. She created the floral wedding arch for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020, as well as the flowers for Princess Eugenie's nuptials to Jack Brooksbank back in 2018.
Amanda Staveley
The former Prince is said to have met Amanda Staveley in 2001 during a royal visit to the Cambridge Science Park alongside King Abdullah II of Jordan. According to historian Andrew Lownie, in his 2025 book Entitled, the businesswoman - who was 13 years Andrew's junior - had made her first million pounds by 24 years old.
Amanda is understood to have been a regular visitor to Andrew's former home of Royal Lodge, as well as Buckingham Palace and Sandringham. However, it is misunderstood that she declined his proposal of marriage in 2003, later telling the Daily Mail that "if I'd married him, my independence would have disappeared" due to the constraints of royal life.
In 2011, Amanda, now 52, married Mehrdad Ghodoussi an Iranian who worked for her investment firm, PCP Capital Partners, who played a significant role in the takeover of Newcastle United in 2021. They share a son, Alexander, who was born in 2014.
Angie Everhart
Andrew is reported to have met model Angie Everhart in 2003, and she was pictured with him in 2008 following the breakdown of her engagement to actor Joe Pesci. Speaking to the Daily Mail a year later about the Prince, she said: "I find self-confidence and good manners sexy in a man, and Andrew has both."
Angie, now 56, rose to fame after appearing in several Sports Illustrated ‘swimsuit issues’ in the 1990s and posing nude for Playboy in 2000. She has been linked to a number of high-profile men over the years, including actor Sylvester Stallone, to whom she was briefly engaged in 1995.
The model has one child, a son Kayden born in 2009, from a brief relationship. She is now the CEO of Diya Beauty & Wellness, a company that has a focus on organic, clean and eco-friendly brands in its portfolio.
