The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met humanitarian teams coordinating aid efforts, during their visit to Jordan on day two. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared deeply engaged as they visited the World Central Kitchen logistics hub in Amman, where humanitarian teams are coordinating urgent food relief efforts for Gaza.

Dressed in understated professional attire, the couple listened intently as staff explained how mobile bakeries are being deployed across the region to produce hundreds of thousands of loaves of bread each day for displaced communities. Screens behind them displayed live operational feeds, highlighting the scale and complexity of the mission.

The pair also visited the National Centre for Rehabilitation of Addicts (NCRA), where they penned touching messages of supports to patients. Scroll down to read the notes and see the best photos from the couple's outing.

Harry and Meghan gathered alongside relief coordinators as food supplies destined for emergency distribution were demonstrated. Meghan watched closely as a team member unpacked essential goods from a World Central Kitchen aid box, while Harry stood beside her. Monitoring screens showing bakery production and distribution logistics reinforced the vital role the Amman hub plays in delivering daily sustenance to families affected by conflict.

The Duchess appeared relaxed yet engaged, dressed in her elegant all-black ensemble, her hair worn in soft waves as she smiled while acknowledging staff and partners involved in the humanitarian operation.

Beside her, Prince Harry adopted a more reflective stance, leaning slightly forward with one hand resting on a chair as he listened attentively to conversations unfolding around him. Wearing a white open-collar shirt beneath a dark blazer paired with olive trousers, the Duke’s focused expression reflected the seriousness of the visit.

The couple spoke with a distribution leader at one of the organisation's six field kitchens in Gaza via video call. It produces daily hot meals for around 60 per cent of the population.

Meghan and Harry heard from Wadhah Hubaishi, the organisation's response director for the Middle East and North Africa, who told the couple that ochre and rice was the meal for Thursday.

"This is one of our most delicious meals for the Gaza people," he said. "Within two hours, we will start distributing the food."

Wadhah continued: "We need 20 trucks (of supplies) every day from Egypt, not enough trucks are coming in, that really affects us more than any other actor."

The centre operates under Jordan's ministry of health's nation centre for mental health. Since its inauguration in 2001, it has served as a short-term residential and outpatient treatment centre offering medical withdrawal services, psychological support and social counselling. The centre has a 40-bed capacity, as well as a dedicated ward for women.
